I've only just started going again so I'll be there as well. The bad times make the good times better!

Leeds away in the play offs has to be the most recent good time. It was absolute pandemonium. Amazing night.

Season ticket prices?
-
Leeds got fined £200,000 because they cheated. We have been found guilty of the accounts not making it clear what we have done (I believe). So until our accounts are submitted and it is proven we have broken the rules we have not done anything that impacts reality (I believe), that is why the fine is so small.
I cannot see on what grounds the EFL can appeal.

We saw the benefit of matching how other teams play last night. I think the players are not up to it and if we cannot get better ones in this year and get Bielik fit we'll go down with whoever is in charge.

I had a season ticket this year and got alot of games on RamsTV as part of having the season ticket. Every game I did not get included I paid an extra £10 to watch and thought it was good value. I would pay £10 a game next season for games I cannot attend no problem.

It was one of the many problems last year though wasn't it? You have a full back and a wide player who both aren't great at defending. Their best attribute is crossing balls into the box which is no good if you don't have players in the box with good movement. Also no good, as already said, if you ask your winger to cut inside.

Sorry Mucker - would help if I read the update correctly ?
-
I'm sure everyone will keep their seats. The issue will be how many seats will be available and who can attend. I'm not sure we will get priority because we renewed but we do not know yet.
Hopefully we can all go again and I can start moaning about the state of the queues at half time. Anyone remember them?

I think you have hit the nail on the head there. Not sure what a covid safe capacity would be at Pride Park. Probably around that figure I guess.

Thanks David - I've been looking out for this. Hopefully this can all get sorted out soon. I wonder if they will be able to offer RamsTV season tickets until we all get back to normal. Mind you, I'll be going if I'm happy it will be safe.

Generally agree but I don’t think you could have fans/member having a vote on budgets. For a start off, whilst many of us are rightly critical of the financial situation those in charge have allowed the club to find itself in, most of us are far less less qualified and possibly even more emotionally engaged. You only have to look at some of the suggestions in the transfer threads over the years to realise we don’t really have a clue.
We should have absolutely no say in transfers, none. I meant we should have a say on the general budget i.e. do we continually operate at the maximum or overspend one year and underspend others. Do we agree to pay more into the club for a year in order to increase budget etc.. We certainly could not allow the club to go into administration. How do we stop that if we have no say on budget?

Not sure how many people need to be interested for this to happen but I am. I don't think a fan shareholder, or whatever we would be called, should be entitled to any discounts or anything as that would cost the club money. It should be a vote on a representative board member and a vote on the budget. Having a say in the direction of the club would be enough for me.

So you don’t think to buy a club the size of Derby is worth 40 million then when the like if Burnley went for 150 million I think. 40 million and with good recruitment and personnel this club is geared for the premiership. Just needs someone to be able to get us there. Oxford went for near 20 million in league 1 with there restrictions and your saying we aren’t worth more than that
The price of a business is all to do with profit and turnover. Burnley, at the moment, have a massive turnover compared to ours and are guaranteed to have for thee years due to parachute payments. The new owners could asset strip and take the TV money and earn more than they spent buying Burnley. Not possible at Derby.

That was the last time that we had an England international forward managing us (Nigel, Frank and John Gregory were midfielders), who was a record goalscorer in his own right and whose Derby team flirted with relegation all the way through his first season proper, ending up 19th in the old Division 2. The terraces were not generally in favour of him continuing and his somewhat drawling way of speaking was much imitated and mocked. The following year we won the league at an eventual canter. A year or so after that we couldn’t go into Europe because of various accounts difficulties.
If history is starting to repeat itself we might be on for an exciting few years, on the pitch.
Do you know how many of the players in the team that finished 19th we kept and who were the new signings? I don't think there are many players in this squad that are good enough to win the league even with a world class manager at the helm. Nothing would make me happier to be proven wrong though.

Has anyone from the club advised that we don't have a budget? I thought Rooney had mentioned targets in one of his interviews. That would suggest we do have intentions of making signings.

I'm afraid Fanatics taking over will just mean price increases. We'll have to wait and see. Not sure why the club has done it if it does.
