Was less annoyed at him falling for their players flop under Wilson’s “challenge” when Hourihane did an even worse one second half he couldn’t wait to give us a free kick for.

There was an absolutely hilarious throw in decision though

Officials are so weak on those decisions, absolutely desperate to give a foul. Any slight touch and a blatant dive/exaggeration is always given.

This one game hasn’t changed my opinion.

The errors we saw when he first started at Derby made me, and suspect many others, wonder why on earth we had signed him. But his form since getting back into the team (baring the blip at Northampton) has made me come to conclusion for some time now that he’s actually a decent player at this level and possibly in the Championship.

Nor mine, has been ok at best. Was awful at Northampton before an awful red card for a captain.

well happy with the two goals today, other than that was a pretty easy day though. Orient were poor.

has turned it around somewhat but still miles behind cash and Nelson.

Hope he keeps proving me wrong though

And don't forget, I believe that every weekend 5 Championship games will be shown live and 5 from the combined Leagues One & Two

That'll be Friday night, Saturday lunch & evening, Sunday afternoon & Monday nights.

    Brilliant !?!?!

Dare to say it but if we don't get promoted this season just imagine how many Derby games will be chosen for live weekend coverage next season

Yeah would think us and Wrexham be on most weeks.

even if promoted is almost a 50/50 chance you’ll be on sky that weekend.

They could change the rules so the club keep a fixed percentage and the rest goes into a shared pot

Yeah is something that needs to be done, hard to get big clubs to agree though. Think Spanish clubs sell their own rights. Is billions up for grabs, the status quo are going to try and protect their stake. The future of English football not really entering into their thinking at all.

Presume this is what’s driving the independent regulator idea, letting the clubs/businesses govern themselves is unethical and immoral at best. Parachute payments will never go as an example, the other 14 clubs in the prem giving themselves a safety net and best chance to return.

I hope this means they'll do a run of the 1996/7 maroon away shirt again, seeing as they were the sponsor too. My first, and favourite, Rams shirt.

Think most of puma kits around then were quality, blue away one from promotion season, purple one after that and then a yellow and blue one the first years at pride park.

    Home shirts were good too.

Not be long before every man and his dog are on the dodgy sticks.

Sky, the premier league and the EFL could see illegal streaming as a symptom of what they have created and try to proactively meet fans halfway and come up with a solution that doesn’t harm the pyramid but allows for clubs to still stream.

Instead they treat illegal streaming as a problem in its own right.

An example of an idea which will have its obvious flaws but gets a conversation started:

Clubs can stream to fans who have a paid membership. This membership allows fans access to purchasing the stream for a match.

Membership fees go into a pool to be redistributed across the football pyramid.

Clubs earn their revenue from the sale of the stream not the membership.

Exactly, am genuinely happy to pay £10 to stream a game when option is available. Is not an option though so can go the vpn route, or a dodgy box.

personally think efl and premier league are nervous of going this route as eventually will be clubs selling direct to fans rather than a package. Man Utd season ticket rather than premier league for example. Makes Sky almost redundant at some point. And then the gap between big and small clubs grows massively and exponentially.

Not sure the addition of Bradley and Hourihane will 'freshen it up', or much else to be honest. Dropping Smith for the latter in particular, seems akin to an act of self-harm. We've looked ok defensively, having reverted to a back 4 and I'd fear a complete meltdown amongst the fans if we bring in the two slowest players on the roster for a game we absolutely need to be winning.

Yeah I agree, bringing those two in and a back three would be a brave gamble from Warne. And fans not be forgiving if it goes wrong.

Must win game, Warne says he may need to freshen it up as we looked tired vs Wycombe so I expect a couple of changes including going back to a back 3, so in a 3412 -

Wildsmith - Nelson Bradley Cashin - Wilson Adams Hourihane Sibley - NML - Collins Waghorn

Vickers Ward Thompson Smith Barkhuizen CBT Washington

Could be either Ward or Bird on the bench.

That line up can easily switch between 3412, 3421 & 343.

Wouldn’t be against the back three if it didn’t have to include Bradley! Fozzy fit would be a no brainer.

i’d like to see waghorn and Collins, nml and barkhuizen wide. A 442 I guess

There are things you can definitely blame on the manager, but missing open goals, blazing 1on1 chances over the bar, and generally not turning up is not his fault. The players have to take responsibility for that.

Agree, would hope that the chances missed were so early though that should be able to react.

second half was poor across the board, no reaction from players and minimal impact from manager.

  10. The issue if we miss out on automatic this season would be then two years in a row where we’ve fallen off. Top six fully in our control last season, this year top two fully in our hands and blown it.

Would be a big concern for me.

However do think that this debate is probably best saved for two weeks time! Let’s see where we end up!

  11. Think the annoying part was the lack of urgency. Also seemed obvious we were struggling to get higher up the pitch and play in their half. Waghorn and Collins on together might’ve helped with that.

NML was awful, but guess we have to cut him some slack! CBT wasn’t much better.

If we play with two spoilers in midfield and wingers have bad games then is not going to go well for us.

It was more prompted by Ed Dawes on Sportscene last night referring to it erroneously as a "9 day break", but you do seem to be echoing what the presenters were saying.

There's actually been five 1 week breaks since the end of January and two 6 day breaks. After Saturday, there's a week long break between each remaining fixture. This time, it's 8 days. What difference does a day make other than give extra time for players to recover from a hard game at Pompey?

For the last few weeks, the consensus on here has been that other teams' fixture pile-up could be helpful to us. We've all expressed concern that playing Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday was a problem for our older players, but now not playing as many games is a problem?

I think it’s just classic football fan/pundit talk which covers all bases. Experienced/old are positive and negative ways of saying the same thing.

as fans I think we almost look for anything that can go wrong!

Fair play to Pompey- u guys have been (one small wobble aside) the most consistent team all season and deserve to go up. Your Jan spending/recruitment was good and has paid dividends. It’s not about playing nice football in this league- it’s just about winning games and escaping to the Championship. You guys have done that well.

Any side that only loses four games is always going to be successful.

There’s only one man for me ….

with fans desperately looking at there watches and the pressure mounting and we are camped in Carlisles half at 1-1 w have finally got level after a shock lead for Simmo’s lads …the board has gone up for 7 mins of additional time and with that …PP roars its approval in a desperate hope to galvanise the team ….but we are resorting to crossing the ball into the box and to some it seems aimless and hopeful then with 2 mins left to play another hopeful cross is headed weakly out of there penalty box into the crowded melee of players who are camped in Carlisle’s half and Hourihane on as a sub collects it and everyone thinks he’s going to shoot from distance …we need a goal afterall …time is running out …instead he shapes to shoot but slides it sideways to Fozzy who’s first touch is a tad heavy but with his momentum he cuts inside a Carlisle player and he’s now just inside the box…………………………………………….

whoosh!! Fozzy unleashes a left foot low pile driver …and the net bulges with the Carlisle keeper just watching …there is a slight second of delay before the PP faithful realise it’s the goal that will take us back to the championship….ans the stadium erupts from every corner of the ground it feels like an earthquake ….Fozzy runs off being chased by the entire team including Wildsmith and Fozzy un ashamedly takes off his shirt and wheels it above his head before being finally caught and mobbed by the whole team ……it hasn’t been pretty football but we’ve done it and Fozzy,s final moment in a rams shirt is set in history …….like the legend he is to us ….oh yes!!!!!! let them beers flow!!!!!! COYR

Foz or cashin the ones that would deserve it for me!

I get the home grown players are loved but bird chosen to better himself at Bristol city next season, sibley seems to only be able to establish himself in the side at left back and Thompson gets brought on to run a lot.

over ten or eleven years fozzy given a lot more than that, despite the odd dodgy spell. Cashin has been generally brilliant ever since he came into the side.

People if you've got nothing to do that day, get a ticket. That games just as important as all the others.

Yeah I’ve no idea why you wouldn’t want to go to that if going to the Carlisle game!

is going to be very close to if not a sell out, place be absolutely bouncing if we win!

Absolutely how I feel in most home games - successful maybe - enjoyable as a football spectacle, no chance

I can deal with it in certain games, Bolton being a good example. Against the vast majority of teams though I think we’d be better just trying to score a second! Kills the game effectively.

Just the one game now with tickets available, it would be nice to see over 30,000 for our last 4 home games.

    Tickets currently available.

    Leyton Orient 2,377.

Was a bit misleading yesterday as a huge area left empty, surely this won’t happen for Carlisle as well?

think Leyton orient be close to selling out after a couple of weeks sales!

I'm looking at the points target for 2nd being 90.

Derby need 3 wins from 5.

Bolton need 5 wins from 6.

Peterborough and Barnsley need 6 wins from 7.

Bolton playing Peterborough on the final day. Peterborough have got 8 matches due to their cup final. Barnsley have also got Portsmouth on their run in. I can't see how Derby can throw this one away. We'd have to go on a real stinker of a run. With the defensive resilience in the team, I think we'll fight over the line, 1-0 all the way 😎

After Tuesday our fixtures look pretty kind as well! I’m pretty confident now!

He's been a very poor signing if we're being kind

Seems to almost instantly turn fans against him any time he builds up some good will!

he didn’t seem very convinced of his innocence yesterday, was walking off before ref even got to him.

Fozzy is ahead of him now if we play a three, if we go back to a two he should be nowhere near the side. Would be happy not seeing him play for us again being honest.
