Apart from the stress, I really enjoyed that! 
Boro fans weren't as vocal as I thought they'd be and Gibson going home empty handed really cheered me up.

It was in retaliation to boro singing having  a party when Derby die, I don’t agree with it but  the lads on the pitch gave the best retaliation by winning the game, I took immense satisfaction in that. Karma !

He let us down quite a few times last season… if someone offered us £250k for him I’d definitely take it and use it on wages for a younger, faster loanee.

I took solace from the thought that when I got off my bus this afternoon it wasn’t in Middlesbrough, Angie! But yeah, feck ‘em!

Almost as if being in a wrestling match every week in L1 brought his level down? I thought he did a very good job today, in what was a game where strong defence was required. Ditto Elder in the 2nd half, didn’t give their right winger much of a sniff. Thought Osborn was quietly excellent.

I did like that about Jim Smith, he tried to sign 2 of everything so they weren't homesick.  Such a simple tactic that worked.

To be fair, you don’t have to go too far back to when we were giving our young Academy players plenty of first team action, and many of them did really well. You don’t have to go too far back to see when that stopped.

I think he looks exposed with Elder next to him. 
I may be wrong, but I don't think Elder is good enough defensively to be a full back, and doesn't give enough going forward to be wing back. 
I'd put Forsyth in for now, try and move Elder on, and bring in a first choice left back. 
I also wouldn't play Wilson as a full back. He's a wing back or a winger - and he's a better winger than CBT or Barkhuizen, for me.
The centre backs are too exposed with Wilson and Elder playing. Nyambe and Forsyth are a must if we're playing a back 4.

And better sides this season will pick us off especially the space we give on the edge of our own box.

This was my biggest gripe last season in that we never looked like we’d been coached how to press. What triggers to wait for and how to strategically do it without leaving acres of space free with an opposition player in it. Pressing needs to be well coached, it isn’t a case of just running at the player who’s got the ball quickly. 
 

I wouldn't be against Cashin having a go, especially as he's now the most accomplished of the academy products.
Nelson does seem the obvious leader though. Experienced, calm, intelligent and would head a brick if it stopped us conceding.

Why do so many on here appear so keen to condemn anything the club do. 
So far, almost everything Clowes has done has benefited the club with very few wrong moves, and it seems to me that he is applying his business acumen to a football situation. He has a plan and he is backing himself to get the right people in to action that plan.
So instead of jumping the gun and giving us all the benefit of, what is after all, just an opinion on how things should be done, let things play out for a while.
I think that's the least David Clowes has earned after the success of his tenure so far

I will judge CBT when the season has started and he's played some games

Just announced its broadcast schedule up to January and it appears that all 6 Derby games between Nov 27 and Dec 26 are to be broadcast live. Can’t they please just f*** off. This means a Weds 8pm game, 2 Friday 8pm games, 1 Sat 12.30, Boxing Day 5.30pm and 1 Sunday 3pm game. Didn’t anyone look at that schedule and think it way over the top given there are 20-odd other teams in the division. W⚓️’s.
