  1. The Greenhouse is a hellhole. I did watch an England Euros game there and it was pretty busy. Suspect it will be the same for a Derby game.
  2. Even if Pboro put their reserves out, I can't see Bolton 'smashing' them. When the chips have been down and the pressure has been on, Bolton generally haven't done well. They end up having 75%+ possession, 20+ shots, hitting the woodwork about 5 times, missing open goals from 2 yards out, and then come away with just a point. Great team no doubt about it, but I personally wouldn't back them in big moments (especially away from home).
  3. Exactly how I saw them too. 1 and 2 definitely get filed under 'seen them given'. But would I kick up a massive fuss if Derby weren't given them? Probably not.
  4. I have no idea what calibre of players we would need to bring in to make us competitive in the Championship, but it's exciting to think about. In theory, we should be able to attract better players - particularly loans from the bigger clubs - and it will be interesting to see what Warne can conjure up without restrictions.
  5. That's the one most likely to happen but I still can't see it. Bolton have been bad away from home and seem to struggle actually putting the ball in the back of the net when it matters.
  6. - Carlisle won't beat us by 2+ goals - Bolton won't beat Peterborough by 3+ goals -Peterborough won't win the next two games by 9+ goals We're Championship as far as I'm concerned.
  7. Did I hear right that Gateshead have two players called Tinkler and Booty? 🤣
  8. I noticed from the start that his demeanour seemed a bit calmer (more focused perhaps?) Interesting to hear him say that's the message they're trying to get across to the players.
  9. We're playing two of the bottom three teams in the form table over the last 10 games. We'll go for the win in both of them.
  10. I do think there is a bit of an attitude and entitlement with some Bolton fans though. A lot of them seem to think they're the best side in the division, based purely on the attractive brand of football they play. Even on here, we had that one Wanderlust bloke, who was extremely salty during/after the match.
  11. For the best footballing team in the league, Bolton sure do struggle to put the ball in the net when it matters. Hit the woodwork twice last night and also this...
  12. I like this 'thing' we have going on with Portsmouth fans - very good-natured and respectful. Or is it just a mutual dislike of Bolton?
  13. I really need people to stop saying so many nice things about Ebou. It's going to break my heart if he doesn't end up signing for us 🤣
  14. Don't think Bolton will overturn a +5 GD from here. So two opportunities to get 3 points - surely we can't mess this up!
  15. Bolton hit the woodwork but it finishes 2-2. Well in Shrewsbury!!
  16. Derby fan Tom Bayliss to score the winner. Written in the stars.
  17. Oar my god, another thread that's going to descend into puns.
  18. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5vN7WktX02/?igsh=dnZndG5vcjRuOTFm You can tell he loves it here, smiling at the 'sign him up' chants. Player power is absolutely huge these days - let him kick up a fuss at Cardiff, put some decent money on the table, and I'm sure we'll get it done. It's either that or he leaves them for free at the end of next season.
  19. I still don't think Bolton will win all three remaining games. We'll either see a shock result in either of their two home games, or they will slip up against Peterborough as they're not as good away from home. I've said all along 90 points will be enough IMO.
  20. 2-0 Nelson FGS. It's the hope that kills you.
  21. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this is one of the worst refereeing decisions I've ever seen. Stonewall foul. Thoughts?
