How would you react to idiots shouting their mouths off that you are a paedo and taking the piss out of you losing your child? Having gone through the pain of losing my daughter I know how I would 🙄

Given the disgusting behaviour at that time Derby County would be the last team on earth I would play for in Sharp’s place.

There’s a world of difference between forgiving and forgetting.

    It's really simple.

If he took a single ounce of responsibility for the position he found himself in, displayed even the slightest shred of self-awareness and didn't instead play the woe is me card (even after he'd got his payout) with sob-story interviews then the ill feeling would have subsided.

He's still got ample opportunity to do that should he wish, it would cost him nothing. Maybe one day....

Are we talking about a former Rams Captain or the 5th in line for the throne?

  3. This is, without doubt, the most farcical episode since Cloughie introduced Ian Moore to us after a game as “Our latest signing” days before the latter turned out for Man U!

(It just needs Michael to play for us against Wigan later today alongside Waggy!)

  4. “We’re not signing Colin Todd, we can’t afford him!” Mr B Clough.
We can trust the truth re transfers when a player appears in our team after the whistle tomorrow.

Even waving a team scarf and/or introduced as “Our latest signing” (Ian Storrey Moore) may not be anything more than a statement of hopeful intent!

As a matter of historical interest .. when Napoleon was at the height of his powers walking through Italy on the way to Egypt he was just 28 ! Not the short arsed pudgy old guy beloved of movie makers - his advisors were forever trying to stop him leading the first charge. The French revolutionary government were as frightened of him and his influence as the Roman senators were scared of Caesar when he crossed the Rubicon. Leaders are special !

He often got a bad press by English historians!

I am wondering if this thread qualifies as the worst one on this forum?

Not by an extended calcium carbonate! The author made it clear that this is a bit of fun during the silly season.

We could just as legitimately ask questions like:-

    Best foreign Ram….Igor or Paolo?

    Best number six……Mackay or Toddy?

And in no time flat it would go off in all sorts of directions and not really serve any useful purpose.

    PS BBG or PP?

A lot depends on the age of the respondent. I worked with folk 20+ years older who insisted that the 71-72 team wasn’t a patch on the 1946 Rams who won the FA cup!
