  1. Three left!

If yesterday was the last game of the season we’d have missed out on the playoffs on a Goal difference of l

The season is still live with all to play for!

    Win two  lotteries?

    Not impossible!

  2. Time to stop worrying about anyone else’s performance and concentrate on establishing and maintaining a lead against whoever we are pitched against!

We are in an enviable position in the League.

We could lodge an appeal against the EFL’s suspended and suspicious points deduction for Peterborough.

I’d sooner keep it on the pitch and go for max points in the final four, six or seven games of the season,…

    Whenever ours ends!

I agree the game yesterday was not a feast of footballing skills.

I wonder what the ratio is for managers being sacked because of a lack of results against those managers sacked for not playing pretty football! 😂

Dirty Leeds*never threatened to sack Revie.

    Cloughie# lasted 44 days!

#iexciting, open football everywhere but the above!

Heaven alone knows what the “average opta power ranking” is supposed to mean.

Probably nothing more technical than “if you’re playing teams in good form it will be tougher than if you play teams in poor form”😀

“You’ll only get 3 points if you score at least one more goal than the other shower!”

Shall we all blame the ref and give Warney a night off 😁

    No…..

    It was totally my bad!

I listened to the commentary for 17 minutes then turned off in disgust.

    I didn’t switch on again until 1720.

    So I’m to blame!

So there, I admit it, and I’m glad do you hear me glad!

So we can stop blaming February’s Manager of the Month, or posted topics.

We’re not going up this season.

(Actually the reason sits fairly and squarely with the EFL!)

I think it's unlikely, but not inconceivable. Hourihane was one of the two subbed before HT in the Fleetwood game and was also second off against Peterborough. Warne definitely prefers older heads to young guns in this division, but maybe the fitness stats are showing him more youth is needed?

    Totally agree!

The lousy results lately suggest that the older heads (and legs!) have a 45 minute best before date.

How about trying out the young guns until half time then bringing on the experience for the second half? We would be less boringly predictable.

At present playoffs are possible but winning at Wembley seems a remote dream of Far Far Away!

  7. Time wasting?

How many old PopSiders remember Willie Carlin?

He spent so much time kicking the ball against the corner flag that any nearer and he'd have had to marry it!

We all used  to cheer him 'cos it meant we'd won

    What goes around comes around
