🐏 Quite a night, never known an atmosphere like it, in the first half particularly. The best of night matches at the BBG I reckon. #COYR

I agree…..I’d seen us win the League, Watney, Texaco and Central League but I was never prouder of the Lads than I was that night.

Apparently when we were 3-0 up at half-time Cloughie decided to concentrate on not letting them score. Hence the goalless second leg!

  2. This topic title is up there with the song title:-

“Why did you believe me when I said I loved you when you know I’ve been a liar all my life?”

Not forgetting of course Pink Floyd’s…

“Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a Pict!”

  3. IMHO Knight has had a positive impact in most, if not all, the games he has played in.

He has the ability to pinpoint his passes to create attacking positions.

Much as I like Sibley he has not fulfilled his obvious potential this season and seems a little uncomfortable in a Rams shirt.

Bird on his day can be a game changer, enough said.

    Bielik can go ASAP.

I'd keep 3 out of 4 if funds permit but otherwise consider in the order I've listed.

No selling to carpet baggers though!

It comes nowhere near our 5-3 win at Spurs in the FA Cup replay in 1973 when we were 3-1 down with nine minutes remaining.

It comes nowhere near our 3-3 draw at Pride Park against the Wendies in 2000 when, in their last season in the Premier League, we scored twice in injury time after half of our home crowd had left the ground at 3-1 down.

It comes nowhere near our 4-2 win at Elland Road in the Championship play-off semi-final when Leeds had won the first leg 1-0.

It was the Division One play-off FFS when they had 120 minutes plus penalties to pull back four goals at home. No big deal at all in terms of our history.

PS Walkleyowl visited us tonight but left without saying twit-a-woo!

ONE OF THE Most I said.

    Remember:-

Liverpool  comeback vs Barcelona in May 2019.

Man U Win from  1-0 down in injury time in CL final to win the treble.

    etc.
