  1. Really like this lad. Humble, eloquent, appreciative, super hard-working and an absolute beast on the pitch. We need to make him feel as welcome as we can, which in fairness, I think we are are.
  2. Ignore it, or have the craic with them mate. You should know that reasoning with folk on here is often impossible and that many seem to view any change of opinion in the same way as you and I would view being neutered. As it is, we're a dozen games from potential glory and I'm going to enjoy it the best way I can. If the naysayers want to spend their time picking faults with the team and manager, so be it, but don't allow them to detract from your experience.
  3. Or, he deployed Sibley precisely as and when he should have. I guess it's all down to the narrative 🤓
  4. Weathered the inevitably robust challenge Evans' team presented, then delivered the coup de grace as their orks' legs turned to jelly. Ebou Adams is my newest man-crush and will be getting his 3rd MOTM rating from me in just the 4 games. GET HIM SIGNED* *Pretty please, with bells on 🙏 To Abba's I do, I do, I do, I do Love me or leave me, make your choice but believe me I love you Ebou, Ebou, Ebou, Ebou, Ebou I can't conceal it, don't you see, can't you feel it? Don't you too? Ebou, Ebou, Ebou, Ebou, Ebou GTF in Warney lad!
  5. Take that you pie-bothering ballbag! NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! COYR
  6. I agree mate. Life is hard enough for most.
  7. Silencing their most vocal and dangerous political opponent. It's difficult to see that his murder, if indeed, that is what it was, strengthens NATO's, or specifically the US's position at all, indeed it removes a potentially willing advocate for a more democratic Russia. With numerous dissidents and journos all having suffered unplanned defenestration events, it does rather seem that being a vocal opponent of Putin's carries an extreme health warning. That said, we should acknowledge that it's not just the Russians who have blood on their hands.
  8. It would and of course it's inevitable that at some point, he calls time. Next season though, I'd be pretty certain that if Warne's still here, Fozzy will be too. Warne was laughing in an interview recently at how a succession of Derby managers, including himself, have brought in players to replace Fozz and one by one, 'he's seen them all off. All of them'. It's funny because it's true and I'd be happy to see him getting another year. I think with Fozzy, you kind of know that it'll be him that tells us when it's too much work, not the other way around.
  9. Well, after the Wendies of course 👀
  10. Cashin £4 million notwithstanding.
  11. S'all good man. Found another angle and if you look really closely, you can see a tiny snippet of Collo's cheeky, grinning mug. Phew!
  12. s*** for the team, s*** for the owner and gaffer, s*** for the fans and absolutely fookin horrible for the lad himself. Setting aside selfish notions for a moment, what truly shitty luck for Collo who was set to be an integral part of our charge to promotion and was having a really decent year in the twilight of his career. We know when it was sustained, so for him to carry on and still outwork everyone on the pitch just shows what an absolute beast the man really is. Gutted, but keeping fingers crossed all the same. Perhaps this is just an embellishment to the ruse designed to leave the pie-botherer thinking we have no 9 available?* *Nah, me neither 😔
  13. Another tough match ahead, though I'm oddly confident. I think we know what we'll face this time around (yes, we probably should have known first time too!) and I think a midfield, replete with thug obliterator Ebou Adams, should enable us to do the business and do it well. Evans will look to mitigate Bird and Nate and will be content that his CBs will cope with Collo, should he be deemed fit to play. That means his tactics will revolve around getting his players to kick Max Bird a lot, with Nate getting kicked even more, often by multiple players at once. With Ebou therefore having at least 6 or 7 deserving targets, I'd imagine the urge to throat punch a couple of them will be hard to resist and I'd certainly consider betting Ebou to collect his 4th card in 4 outings. That said, I reckon the ref hates Stevenage even more than I do, so we'll probably also get awarded 4 or 5 penalties to balance things out, with Sonny Bradley notching the last of them with a cheeky Panenka, thereby securing himself a hattrick, the MOTM award, gushing praise from the Rams faithful and a subsequent move to Real Madrid. So, there you have it. A day that culminates in a comfortable 3 or 4-1 win for the lads and the SS singing songs about Sonny Bradley's c**k. Marvellous! COYR
  14. Steve Evans pumping his fist? In front of 30,000 fans? Filthy beggar! Can't the fat ***k find a less noncey way to celebrate? @hintonsboots can we get a, 'ooh, matron' please, to express our collective disdain? Ta.
  15. Not nearly as complicated as some seem intent on making out to be and it's in no way critical to most fan's enjoyment. Likewise, 'not getting it' does not in any way lessen your understanding of the game IMO. I think it's something of interest principally for football stattos, clubs and on both sides of the betting markets and it's interesting that many big clubs now have in-house teams developing and running their own versions of xG. Personally, I think that's indicative of football teams increasingly looking for incremental gains and an enhanced focus on identifying any less obvious weaknesses in opposing teams as well as their own playing roster.
  16. Aren't we forgetting young Jake Rooney?
  17. I'm thinking it's a case of 'many hands make light work' as someone's got to carry all Steve Evans' halftime pies to Derby, after all.
  18. We've also got the fluid front 3 option. I might be misremembering but didn't we experiment with this during the good run of form last season. I seem to remember thinking it looked ok, though I might as easily have imagined it. Don't get me wrong, losing Collo would be a massive ball ache, but my point was really, is it worth freaking out about when we don't know if it's even happened. Not for me.
