Let’s start being honest with ourselves, Derby County FC is fake believe it’s not really existed for the last 9 months.
Unfortunately for us the money people have treated us like a rich man’s toy and will probably continue to do so.
In my humble opinion they have no redeeming features, but I’m not from the same side of the street as them.
Very sad but the so called game of football is in my very humble opinion absolutely screwed and unrecognisable from what I recollect, it’s so sad that the youngsters will never experience the joys we had following DCFC.
I suppose fans in all clubs will have the same rose tinted spectacles.
Sorry but I’m on a downer and I can’t see a lot of light at this extremely dark tunnel.

I tend to agree, whether this goes through or not CK would have spent hundreds of thousands potentially millions on the deal at this point.
What would be the reason for this? There is no gain.
Will CK be the new owner? No idea but I am certain if he isn't it's from some other reason out of his control.

It would be the beaten play-off finalist if precedent is followed. In 1990 Sunderland finished sixth in The Second Division and were beaten 1-0 by Swindon Town in The Play-Off Final. Swindon were then found to have breached League rules and had their promotion taken from them and handed to us, rather than Newcastle United who'd finished sixth.

That would open up another can of worms.
Do they promote the higher league position or the play off finalist?

You know how long this taken, do you think another bidder can come in now and renegotiate all the different pieces, the creditors, HMRC, the stadium. There’s no way that would be done by Christmas let alone the start of the season.
If this deal falls through the EFL will call it a day.
So you’re actually calling for us to be liquidated, no wonder people are questioning whether you’re a Derby fan.

    FFS, really?
I mean it's not like I'm the only one who has pointed this out, yet you and a mercifully small number of other doom-bots continue to ignore factual answers provided in favour of inane, doom-laden speculation with absolutely zero basis in fact.
For a while I actually found what I can only assume to be a rabid need for attention, mildly amusing, but now reading the utter arse biscuits you regurgitate on a daily basis has become tedious AF. I'm now going to follow the advice my erstwhile fellow Ram @KBB and put you on ignore as I've come to the conclusion that the only tumbleweeds 'in play' are the ones rolling around the void between your ears.

Come on now surely people only want it to happen because they want to know when get the fizz out the fridge or the whisky out in celebration. Unless CK is the biggest con man in history, this is done barring formalities.

I would think that a points deduction on return to the Championship would be more of a deterrent than a fine in chasing the dream, because it would make it harder to become a yo-yo club when they come back down.

My thoughts too, the word reliably is the one that makes it ambiguous.
If we bought Lawrence for 4 million on a four year contract then after 3 years we could still technically sell him for 4 million.
But as we know to our cost it could have been Anya bought for 4 million and sat in the reserves for 3 years on higher wages than anyone else is willing to pay him so after 3 years his value could be nothing.

Anyway, I asked that question about 10 mins before Lord Kirchner of Derbyshire made his announcement so hopefully we can put all that bo#&£@ks behind us and look to the future instead of whinging about the past.
Up the ducking good ole USA Rams

Could you point us to the paragraph in FRS 102 that says our amortisation policy was in breach of it as opposed to a straight line policy?
Ive scanned through it and couldn’t find anything, but then it’s over 400 pages, so I could have missed it.
