  1. Well done sir. This was mine... and it didn't end so well...
  2. So, hobnail boots and baggy shorts for the players, rattles, flat caps, and a pre-match stout for the fans, and brown-tinted photographic images from the press, it is then! Hoorah!
  3. As much as I love the guy... and we have met, so I should know... can we just make it clear to all members of this family friendly forum that @MadAmster's wholly inappropriate tales of accepting drinks off strangers is neither big nor clever. #Stay safe, kids! 👀 EDIT: And as for @OUTSIDER's gif? Not so inappropriate, to be fair. #carry on son. 😁
  4. I shouldn't worry too much about that. Most folk in the outside world already see Derby County as being as immoral as they come! 👀
  5. That's all a tad too excitable for me, in all honesty. I prefer the more staid and less biased commo on this version... One of those never to be forgotten match day experiences that football supporting is literally all about. Had Muckerette by my side. Jumping for joy in the aisles. Hugging all those strangers around us! A nigh on perfect view of JR's glorious 4th goal, as it headed towards us in the NE corner. We both left the stadium hoarse, absolutely shattered, and in fairness, a little astounded at just how bloody fantastically well the afternoon had gone! I doubt any of us had THAT in the prediction league! #Stuff of dreams. #the perfectstorm #10 bloody years, eh! 😲
  6. Try this (Post from January in this thread)...
  7. Probably the beans again! Maybe try eating them with a spoon next time! 😁
  8. I'm picking up some of @David's "promote us now" vibes from a few posts on here. I'm surprised he still allows such foolish and thoughtless behavior, if I'm honest! 👀
  9. That's baked beans for yer! 😲
  10. Better still, we win our next 3, whilst Pompey come a cropper at Wycombe and against us, putting us top next friday (by 1 point) and 4 points clear after the Pompey game (with them having a game in hand). #livingthedream
  11. A little more info, namely who plays who (Rather than just games a & b). I guess the *'s are in case they swap them around, as they have done previously, to accommodate trouble makers/local derbies/bumper crowds/clubs that are massive every where we go... erm... sorry, I meant everywhere THEY go... on police advice. Personally, I'd rather we don't qualify, and leave 'em to it! #tinpotplayoffs 👀 Friday 3 May 2024 ; 20:00 ; League One A 1st Leg (6th v 3rd)* Saturday 4 May 2024 ; 19:45 ; League One B 1st Leg (5th v 4th)* Tuesday 7 May 2024 ; 20:00 ; League One A 2nd Leg (3rd v 6th)* Wednesday 8 May 2024 ; 20:00 ; League One B 2nd Leg (4th v 5th)* *Subject to Confirmation
  12. Dear away team, Many thanks for your recent allocation of tickets for your away area for our upcoming game. Just to advise that in order for us to treat our fans with due consideration and fairness, any further tickets allocated to us (by you) at a later date, that happen to be directly in front of those already allocated to us, will be returned unsold. Yours sincerely TOM (Ticket Office Massiv.) #sorted
  13. I hope to God that's a typo, and not a premonition! 😲
  14. Just to let you know, they identify as a cheese. You're welcome. 😁
  15. Just popped in, as I noted the last poster to post in this thread (on my "Unread posts" list.) I cannot deny it came as quite a shock! 😲 It just goes to show how deceiving these message boards can be, and we don't truly know who we are "talking" to! PS: I/m ok now. Just had a sweet tea and a biscuit. PPS: 👀 👀 👀
  16. For clarity, is that the UK pissed, or the US pissed? There's quite a lot of the latter on here, so you'll not be alone! 🤣
  17. I tendered a laughing reaction. Not to ridicule you, I hasten to add, but more to say "What a small world! So did I"! 🤣
  18. For clarity purposes, is that nice, or nonce?
  19. Oh! The posh end, eh? Get you! 🤣 (I only asked, to tell you to come say hello if you were passing me... at my very spacious stair-side seat!) 😄🐏👍
  20. I'm not certain it's @angieram you need to be offering advice to? 🤷‍♂️ Do you not have any words of wisdom for those that wantonly flout the rules? Re "Take what they can"... did they not have the option to choose a standing ticket on the terrace... at the same time they purchased a seat ticket? Re "Vast majority of people want to stand"... Where on Earth has this load of twaddle come from? I'd imagine the "vast majority" of those that do stand, do so solely because the git in front is standing, and obstructing their view! The term "Vast majority" usually refers to 95% or more (As opposed to >50% for the term "majority"). Are you sure you chose your words wisely? I'd imagine (But look forward to seeing the results of your poll, which will no doubt prove me wrong) that... "at best"...there's a sizeable minority of fans who prefer to stand at away games. It is obvious beyond doubt that "the vast majority" of home fans in seated areas prefer to sit... or at the very least, are happy to abide by the stadium rules.
  21. I have stairs to my right, and the former u12 freebie ST seat for my grandson on my left. As it's a sole empty seat, in what most see as a naff area (NE Corner, just a staircase away from the family area) it rarely gets nabbed. All others around us are long term ST's. I stopped the freebie seat when grandson passed 12, as he wasn't interested enough to pay for it! 😢 He's 18 now! It's not even been used a dozen times in the past 6 years! Absolute bliss! 🤣
  22. I had the misfortune to miss this game. Caught the short highlight snippets yesterday. However, due to the prolonged discussions relating to "Waggy's handball", I decided to do some research... the wording of related laws, stills and video playback at numerous speeds, and from various angles. I've checked match reports, and on line discussion board comments. I've then returned to the laws of the game, before publicly offering my own thoughts on the matter... 4 hours and 23 minutes I've spent on this research, and bugger me, it turns out the result cannot be changed, and we still won 1-0. We will always have won this game 1-0. Bolton themselves will go down in history as the team that lost this game 1-0. The referee has sent in his match report, which will also back up this outcome. It showing on league tables and results lists the world over. That's right... 4 hours and 23 bloody minutes! Sometimes, I despair! I feel a right twonk! 🙄
