It’s well worth watching.

Is the atmosphere amongst Derby fans good? Big chance for a statement win today.

He might have which is more likely to delay, rather than end, the transfer. -
Love an away day dining photo!

Isn’t he just some kind of Labrador Poodle cross?

So difficult to judge whether there’s real talent there. The defending and goalkeeping is so poor. In League One, only a handful of those goals would be scored. He might make the step up, but it would be a risk. I’d back the guy who played for Arsenal over the guy who played for Swindon.

Barkhuisen isn’t the most dynamic of players. He’s not a grafter or a battler. He’s not even a great finisher. What he does do, however, is take up better attacking positions in the box than any other Derby player which means when the cross is accurate, he gets scoring opportunities. For me he’s a good sub but we have better starters in terms of what they bring to the team. -

I think we should appreciate what’s starting to happen here. At the beginning of the season we were looking at Waghorn and Washington to spearhead our attack. We now have the prospect of a 22yo and a 26yo tearing it up. We should be delighted. If we get Arblaster too it will be a fantastic window. I do wonder who might go out to make way. -

He will join the hero/ scapegoat rollercoaster like the rest of the squad! He’s young, quick and exciting. If he was infallible he wouldn’t be playing in the third tier. -
We have picked pretty much a 4-2-4 formation a couple of times recently with poor old Hourihane and Bird trying to hold the midfield together. We might try to pair Collins and TJJ with two from NML, CBT and Wilson either side of them. Very bold but it does put the pressure on the opposition to counteract our threat rather than the other way round. I think we might get Smith too to add a different dimension from the bench. If I’m greedy, I’d like a fitter midfield option to help make this all work.

Thanks Bob. You just cheered me up. Gotta love Larry. Challenging social conventions for over fifty years. And no one swears as well as Suze!

Is this purely to distract us from the CBT situation? I have no idea how good Jake Young is but sometimes players just have a golden season where everything lands at their feet. Look at Cole Stockton. Not long ago he was the lower league Messi. Now he’s just a messy lower leaguer.

Hope so, because we can’t keep relying upon Forsyth, who has been a great servant but has had a heavy workload. He’s like Boxer from Animal Farm. Elder looks like he’s still half a yard off the pace and I hope we will see his true form soon as he gets more minutes.

What, on here or elsewhere cos all of those names have been mentioned on here.

Myles Peart-Harris?

Not buying the McGoldrick explanation though. Reckon he’s been looking at Dan Crowley.

Call me old-fashioned but I quite like a simple Derby followed by three staccato claps. Usually grows in volume as more and more people realise it’s a simple one they can join in on without feeling daft or self conscious. Also effective in lifting the team as it’s easy to pick up on. We don’t seem to sing it these days.
