Ill be gutted, but, Im a realist.
We will survive in some form or other, I have zero confidence in this deal going through as Morris is not going to do the decent thing. 
I just hope Q have secured another months funding from MSD.....

The only positive about this is we will probably end up with Mike Ashley, who will ride into town at the death and piece this all together, at least we will have PPS though.

Just a thought, but, I could  see this coming in the final week with CK, a last min hard ball tactic.  I wonder if Q are starting to regret their PB decision, at this moment in time my money is on Ashley to buy the club, sadly we will be at the bottom of the league though as he will prioritise bricks and mortar over table position.......

Depends if a certain person is pkayong games.  The true best business deal.is to disolve the club, pick the ground up for £20m start at the bottom of Lg2 as a Pheonix club.....  Debt free with a massive budget and back in the Championship in 2 years.
Unfortunately that means we lose out titles and all honours.....
Everything is on the table.....

How can anyone look at any blame at the council regarding them buying the ground whilst the little weasel Morris is rubbing his hands hoping for some money from PP
ivw said this before but how on earth is this clown having any say in our future ? But he is …some saying he won’t deal with CK or he prefers MA and will sell at a certain price to MA but not to CK but the council might buy the ground blahdy blahdy blah ….just listen to us fans we are sick to death of all of this and even right at the last knockings …Mel holds the keys to our future …I cannot say just how much I loathe this man….he comes out to tackle gibbo and yet he can’t do a deal with someone who’s willing to pay off all of the debts he’s accrued including the HMRC …still it seems he wants some payment for our football ground!! This man is nothing short of a disgrace and yes we don’t know all of the facts but for pities sake Morris just write it off …sell our ground and home back for a pound or 5 pound who cares but do the bloody right thing …
council are not to blame nor is CK for not talking to him or anyone else for that matter …this man has been holding the keys to our future for some time now and knew this would be an issue ….just sell it on Morris ffs ???

The EFL did allude to allowing us entry in Lg2.....  Unless of course you know better than Parry, who mentioned this as an olive branch if we could not get someone to sort out Mels mess....

The council encouraged CK to come back. They can't do anything while the election is on. Things will move the next few days.
Mel won't be able to do anything with an empty football stadium and he won't want the MSD debt that comes with it.
Something will get sorted.

So who will make MM see reason? Can anyone? I find it hard to believe we have got to this point and he still seems to be the issue. How does he sleep at night?

With MM things get very personal - Gibson, Keogh, Rush... And I think there’s very bad blood between him and Rooney. As a result his decisions are not always rational. But I reckon he will definitely avoid being responsible for the liquidation of the club. 

Its not beyond possibility that the council are actually agreeing to underwrite any rent per season to Morris at an agreed rate as Morris is not willing to accept Kirchner paying him agreed rent over the next X amount of years .  the council are deemed a safer bet over 10  years of loan repayments.  the council will also be looking for guarantees over how Kirchner will cover the rent repayment to them at his end and perhaps he's not offering to pay enough.  This type of agreement would be achievable in a far quicker time than an overall sale. 

Look if club asked me I be willing talk some scence into mel and get him to sell kircher and get him just give the ground as last decent thing he can do for the club.

I know better than to question the ego of multi millionaires, but at the same time, Mel really doesn't want to be holding a valueless Pride Park, if it comes down to it he'll cut a deal I'm sure. 

One problem just now is CK has refused to have any ongoing relationship with MM. This means the Council need to step in and that’s not easy
id guess there’s another problem which is that MM and Rooney fell out months ago. So MM is going to be loath to tip £ into any bid which Rooney is involved in
The Council need to get their skates on,  and Morris needs to give them a decent deal. He should just get on with it and agree to pay off some of the MSD debt

I want someone to buy us so we're not liquidated. There seems an unjustified confidence that's not going to happen. I'm quite happy for Ashley to buy us if it means we survive, as I'm sure he would also be targeting the Premier League quickly. We know he has the money.

I have a feeling it will end up being Ashley, I hope not as I quite like CK, seem an honest guy. My thought is this, MM is refusing to sell/lease to CK due to the F Word name calling before Christmas. Ck doesn't like MMs treatment of the club and attitude but the best way to get it without directly dealing with MM is for the council to buy then lease it to CK. MM is waiting for the exclusivity for CK to run out, at which point he offers to sell the ground for an already arranged deal with MA. Stopping tge council from buying it and allowing MA to have it.
