You’ll have to do better than that. A point per game would give us 79 points which is already enough to see us safe. 😀
Au contraire.
You're forgetting about the 45 point deduction the EFL are bound to invent by the seasons end.....

On the basis of our last 3 games averaging 1 ppg, I've got us fighting relegation.....

No need to panic - it was not the last game of the season . Walking away from Hillsborough last day , last season was gut wrenching .
Walking away from Hillsborough ANY day is pretty gut-wrenching. It's a tip.....

At the risk of moving this thread up - comments on this very familiar sounding.
What is it with Plymouth and scouse managers.....?
There must be some sort of EFL approved book of one-liners as they all seem to say the same things....

I remember when some Forest fans said our £1.1m rent was too low. They tend to think their stadium is better than ours too.
But, £1m is too much for them and £250k is fair? It's affordable social stadium.....

Glad Wards had the game he was well due for in a more advanced role. Is CBT alive. If he ain't getting 25 minutes here he must be a duffer.
You're slagging off Paul's carefully scouted, appraised and selected January signing.....

Today is a great opportunity for Paul to prove us doubters wrong.
At home to Port Vale, with Dwight Gayle, Corey Blackett Taylor and Mendez-Laing at his disposal.
I don't even think he can mess this up.
That's his new 3 at the back sorted......

Brave. I really hope it works.
Last time we tried two wing backs with no pace it didn’t work but you never know.
What was that definition of insanity again?

No, this is really interesting. I wangled my way into a talk with two U.N. Executives on Tuesday. One of them was the negotiator for the 1999 Air India hijacked plane. The theory and cultural considerations were really interesting to hear. Have you read Surrounded by Idiots?@Van der MoodHoover
I have not, but now you've prompted me I'm going to take a look.
Being a mathematician by education I tend to start on topics from the numerical direction, but I've just read a precis of the book you've mentioned and it does look interesting.
Thanks Claire 👍😉

It was a poor performance all-round. Our ball handling was incredibly poor. I shan't revisit them but the stats were pretty damning. I do expect a bedding in process and I accept that'll mean that the less experienced players will need time to acclimatise to test rugby, but yes, I couldn't agree more that seeing Danny Care at 9 was depressing and Ford whose distribution is typically very good, was a mile off his best. I'm afraid it will take a little more time than it ought. Players talking about how 'heavy' the England shirt weighs need to have a serious re-think if that's the case. It'll be interesting to see what side Borth picks this week, as Ireland appear to be the only team who have turned up for the 6N this year and are levels above what we saw last week.
Ah well, we could be France I suppose, who have somehow conspired to go from world beaters to also-rans in a matter of mere months, but if nothing else, it does illustrate the need to have a solid 9/10 axis. France will have theirs back in time though, whereas for England, the search continues. It's frustrating.
Must be something about the coaching. The young replacement 9 looked as slow and ponderous as prime Ben Youngs.
Oh for a Matt Dawson, the days of him and bracken are such fond but distant memories......

Well done to the Scots though. It's always VDM these days that puts us to the sword. He's been the difference again today. As it is, Scotland have a cutting edge we lack at the moment. Thankfully I had the big lad to score two or more and Scotland to cover a 7 point spread so they made me a decent chunk of change today, which has somewhat eased my pains
Not guilty mate......
I was somewhat mystified by our new "blitz" defence which seems to entail players running very quickly in the wrong direction.
And disappointed that our initial good play couldn't hold up. George Ford had a bit of a stinker with his passing which seemed to veer wildly between head and ankle height.
But, you know, Steve borthwick is trying something new. I wish he'd go further. Danny Care still?

I think it's wrong to recline any more than a tiny bit at any point during the flight tbh. Does my head in, especially when you're trying to watch a film.
This is why Elizabeth can only bear to fly 1st class now.........
