It's the same thing. Split between the original loan (£20.5m and the additional loan in November of £3.5m). £20.5m to MSD to buy the stadium. £3.5m directly to MSD to clear the loan.

I agree,  some may see this as the death knell for the club.  However, I think this is the best thing that could happen at this critical point.  They do not seem to have much confidence in the matter being resolved as it is. 
The administrator has to be neutral but those affected can make representations to them and therefore establish whether a said bidder is viable.  With someone readily available to negotiate on behalf of the FA it is far better for all parties.    I'm not aware of any other club that has had this provision.
It may be last chance saloon for some, but I think this is positive news.

Seems that way. Good for them. I always did like the EFL.

So - am I understanding this right…. are they saying that they are essentially stepping into facilitate the sale cause the admins aren’t getting the job done?

They aren't threatening anyone.
If you're not making false statements about them then you are in no danger.
If you're making things up or just repeating unfounded rumours about them then don't go whining if they call you out on it.
They have handled the situation very poorly and there is enough factual information out there in the public domain to beat them with, without having to resort to fantasy stories.

I think you made an unfortunate slip there - I've been following your comments - the friday afternoon call was to say Steve Morgan was the new owner and you had a follow up conversation with your mate last night who confirmed it. I think if folk think Steve Gibson will be the ne owner there'll be a meltdown ?
