Trump's aide says to him, "Sir, I had a dream you got your parade. It was miles and miles long winding through Washington DC. Joyful Americans lined the route, literally in the millions. People were laughing, cheering, playing in the street. You were riding in the most beautiful carriage."
Trump asks, "Was I happy?"
The aide answers, "I don't know, sir. The casket was closed."

I know a few of you already do this and several won some tidy sums last season, but for 30+ years I have run a simple to play predictions competition called Footycomp.
Unlike traditional fantasy football style competitions, this one isn’t time consuming as you make your predictions before the season starts and then just sit back and watch your progress via emailed monthly league tables.
It’s only £5 to enter, just as it always has been
Last year over £600 was paid out in prizes and as every penny of entry fees is ploughed back into the prize pot, the more people that enter, the more there is to win.
Please forward this link to as many colleagues, friends, family, 5-a-side mates that you can might be interested too.
Full details and online entry form in the URL below
https://www.cognitoforms.com/Footycomp/Footycomp202324
Deadline for entries and payment is 3pm on Saturday 5th August. Please put this in your diary to avoid disappointment as after this time, the website will not accept any entries.
Good luck!

Nice. When / where are the Franks playing? I’d love to see them again.
And is the Eagles tribute Talon? I saw them years ago and seeing them again later this year. I’m partial to a good tribute band, saw The Southmartins last month and they were excellent, the guy’s got Paul Heaton to a tee.
Franks are at The 100 Club in Oxford Street on October 14th. Eagles are the Alter Eagles. I have seen Talon before, excellent as you say.

Asked my Bristol City supporting relative about him.
“Reports down here are that the Wilson deal isn’t necessarily linked to the Knight transfer. We signed him from Forest Green last summer on a free after he was their best player in winning League 2. Think he was in the team of the year. Not seem much of him as he got injured after the first few games of last season.
He’s quite quick and creative. Probably best suited to right wingback rather than full back. We’re playing a 4231 at the moment, so not really fitted in to our formation. Signed a new right back from Aberdeen this summer, so surplus to requirements.”

I always thought school swimming lessons were a waste of time… until that is, I was out walking in my pyjamas and I dropped my brick in the river.
Has Warne gone? (He hasn't, just another Twitter ITK wannabe)

Warne won’t leave Derby until he is pushed. One of our most refreshing managers in years.
