i84est
Have I said I will not go? In the past couple of times at the city ground tickets have gone on general sale I believe. I deplore sky and their stranglehold on the football empire that rules the majority of males in this country so I shall watch it at home on a live stream which undermines sky. Also I don't really drink thus a pub isn't really my scene 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Can't believe how pissed sky are gonna be with you naughty boy not sure how ethical it is tho

Mr Tibbs
Completely agree but as it stands pay 25pound to garentee a ticket everybody knows where they stand. If you had a membership would you use it? The only time it would get used was for Forest or if we got promoted again when all the bandwagoners come out for the nice shiny grounds. No point in getting one as it stands.

Martyn
You must be indeed. I have already put it simply and if you cannot grasp that then that is your problem. However I shall put it in such simple terms that my dog could understand it. Are you having a bad day? You don't seem to have been the type to jump to abusing people just for asking you to clarify your position? Or do you just not like me? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> 1) Blah 2) If someone buys a season ticket or goes to a lot of away games they should have priority to the big away games rather than someone who has just paid £25 to go to a big away game. 3) Blah 4) Blah 5) To address this problem I would introduce the old system of membership on top of a season ticket and allocating tickets based on the number of away games you have been to. This would ensure fairness and it would mean that even those without season tickets who go to a number of away games would have a chance of getting the big game tickets. This isn't perfect but in my view it would be the best compromise. So it boils down to you have a fantasy that Season Tickets give you some kind of entitlement to away fixtures. They don't. So it's not unethical. Your the only person that seems to think so. Relax. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> Now I actually agree with your point 5 - nothing to do you with anything being "fair" or otherwise, but it may encourage some people to go to more away games, which would be a good thing. I agree with point 5 but it just contradicts his theory that people can't afford a membership as surley it would cost more to go to more away games plus if you can't afford a membership they've done well getting a season ticket and going to away games

Also as I pointed out it would be of secondary consequence whether they could afford it or not. Affordability isn't what matters here at all, your comment again misses the point I have been trying to make.

If you note it isn't just season ticket holders but also people who reguarly attend away games as well, I do believe these people deserve priority for the big games because they have shown loyalty to put an investment into the club and they should be rewarded for that with advanced priority over someone who has just come along for the big game. I am sorry, I get frustrated when I can see something clearly and others cannot. Like with this to me this ticket system is clearly wrong and is unethical yet no-one else it seems can see it which is why I am frustrated now. I think it's because you seem to think people go to games to invest money into the club when I actual fact there probably going to watch the rams, if I saw it the way you see it I'd never go to forest away as it's investing money in them but as it goes I just go to watch the rams I couldn't give a toss what happens to the ticket money if I did I wouldn't of gone when we had savage because it would hurt me to much knowing that I was contributing to him see what I mean, your reading to much into what your money is spent on instead of enjoying the rams

However as a football club we should reward loyalty to the club and this system doesn't do this in any sense at all. I don't care what happens to the ticket money as long as it is legal (unlike the 3 amigo's) I just believe that for the most sought after games with limited tickets we should make sure people who have gone to a number of away games or have a season ticket have priority because they have been loyal to the club by going to games and putting an investment into the club with faith especially those with season tickets. This system allows anyone to have an advance on a season ticket holder if they wish which is in my view plain wrong. The old system was far better and fairer which as a football club we should strive to be with fans.

-JW-
BUMP. On-sale dates confirmed for September's clash at the City Ground. Derby County have today confirmed when tickets will go on sale from September’s local derby clash at rivals Nottingham Forest. Nigel Clough’s Rams will head to the City Ground on Sunday 30th September 2012 (1:15pm) as they look to build on last season’s ‘double’ against the Reds. In last year’s encounter across Brian Clough Way, Derby came back from 1-0 down, and the sending off of Frank Fielding, to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Jamie Ward and Jeff Hendrick in a memorable encounter. The on-sale dates at the Digonex Ticket Office have been confirmed as: Membership Holders: Monday 10th September Season Ticket Holders: Wednesday 12th September General Sale: Friday 14th September Derby are awaiting confirmation from Forest with regards to ticket allocation and matchday prices, but are expecting to hear from the Reds in coming days on both matters.
