10 worst decisions by DCFC

In the last 12 years. Where does the current boards decision to flog off our only experienced centre back (knowing Barker would be out for the season ) for almost the same price they paid for him last year. Where does this rank compared to;

Huddlestones sale to Spurs on deadline day

Commons sale to Celtic.

Hulse sale to QPR

not sacking Jewell after we were relegated.

not sacking Jewell when the o scandal hit

Signing Claude Davis for 3 million.

there must be loads more.........

Huddlestone was because we had to sell to keep the banks happy - hated it but different to having to sell to buy elsewhere

Was Commons or Hulse really missed? Both flopped at their new clubs due to injury or idleness

Agree with Jewell though.

There are many rumors why George Burley left stimacked. Huddlestone we had to do in fairness, I would probably say selling rasiak is up there along with appointing the cretin John Gregory.

Glad to get rid of Hulse has been beyond awful for QPR and is no happy to sit on his wage, such a shame he didn't go to Boro for £4 mill.

Think missing out on Charlie Adam when there was reported interest in him, Blackpool got him for £500k.

Also the majority of players signed in 2008! Bar Commons, Hulse and Green and Davies.

Hulse being sold was bad 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> he was pretty much injured for the whole season after and still injured now isn't he. Shrewd piece of business, although I liked him a lot.

Commons we had no choice with 300k now, or nothing in a few months.

Paul Jewell was just bad. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Huddlestone was the hardest to accept.

One day, we'll sell a promising youth player and other people will say "Man United just signed Joe Bloggs for £13m from Derby. Can't believe they spent that on an unproven player."

He'll go on to be an established PL star and no one will remember he started at Derby. Except us and the new team we bought with his fee.

Sticking with Jim Smith too long out of the friendship he had with Lional Pickering.

That was the start of our demise.

Also, letting McClown join Manu as assisitant coach.

Yep, quite correct, both terrible decisions... but head and shoulders above that was the decision to move to pride park, which has got to be level with letting Brian go asthe two worst decisions this famous club has ever and will ever make.
