ladyram
Totally agree with you (for once) Fords are utter, utter ****. Never had one, never wanted one. Vauxhall rule. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Never had a problem with our Ford's. Reliable engines (well the ones we've had did/have anyway) and they're comfy with enough room for the brats in the back.
mozza
had me mondeo 10 years, 93000miles, never missed a beat, just needed brakepipes and new tyres, can't fault Fords.
ladyram
Mondeo we had was like a tank, that was a 2ltr ghia too Mo55y. Good car that one. My son has a Corsa and it always seems to want money chucking at it, which wouldn't be too bad I s'pose if he didn't have a fortune to pay on the insurance. RamOfKansas
A 97' Toyota Corolla(manual). A very reliable car, good gas mileage but it's had a rough life. Had my radio and speakers stolen when I was at community college and someone had a little fun with a shotgun when I lost the keys to it while getting drunk out on the whole farm road by the Verdigris River where we always did our drinking(figures to be an American stereotype fulfilled). Lost my keys and had to leave it out there for a day. Yeah that was just excellent. Bananas, till the day I get a real job and can afford a new car. Dimmu
moronised contradictions... Ford Mondeo -98, estate. No big problems and if there is something small, even I can fix it. And that's quite well, my knowledge of cars is almost non-existent. (But I do know that red cars are better than grey 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />)

You have an impressive list of motor vehicles there apart from the pug's hate them cars Hillman avengers were quality we had a bright orange one at college when I did my mechanic training loved that car nothing beats the good old Sierra Cosworth though well apart from the Escort Cosworth or the MK1 Mexico

Just got unlucky for a while. Would loved to have owned a Mk1 Mexico, my Dad's mate had one, think thats what got me hooked on Fords.
TelTheRam
Mini Escort Mk1 1300E - lovely motor but rot like hell, as with all early Fords Escort Mk2 1300 MGB GT and also had a Vauxhall Chevette and another Escort 1300E as runabouts during this time. Fiesta Mk2 Van- great in the snow. Vauxhall Carlton 2L Auto - like sitting in an armchair, but made my daughter car sick. Subaru Legacy Estate - a bit noisy and thirsty but a real workhorse. X-Trail 2L diesel - lovely.
Ambitious
Current first.. Vauxhall Corsa... well.. yeah, that's it, close to buying a new one but don't know which to opt for, think my mind is set on an Audi A3 which hasn't been mentioned in this thread, as of yet! tidymat
Saxo 1.1 - treble figures from a 1.1...say no more. Saxo VTR 1.6 - basically a go-cart with a roof. Awesome. Megane Coupe - what was I thinking? lost about 4k on this in 18 months...looked like a right ponce an' all. Fiesta 1.6 TDCi Titanium - nice little motor, nothing special...midtable mediocrity Clio 197 2.0 - **** off a shovel if a tad thirsty...never fails to make me smile. Next...A3, 3 series or Golf (back to diesel)...can't make my mind up?
