McRamFan Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Thinking this through, I am glad we are a little 'boring' this season, its quite nice to be in a situation where both on and off the fieild is OK, no pressure to avoid relegation, no worries about finding an owner, no immediate board pressure to get promoted. Add to that, loyal fan base, a team that is steadily growing in both confidence, character and ability maybe 'boring' isn't so bad when achieves stabilty. Also the media dont really pay attention to Derby despite the still excellent local support. And Nige is the every opposite of his Dad, as dour as his Dad was charismatic. Anag Ram Posted January 14, 2012 Author Share Posted January 14, 2012 Me again - 1-0, no flair, no snappy passing, lots of great tackling, another steady performance from Roberts that no-one will notice 'cos they want him to be Roberto Carlos, a great goalkeeping display, a poor crowd and finally a cameo performance from probably the most unwelcome substitute in the Championship.
