McRamFan
Can't see Nige signing him back, and I think Greeny will find a club, just got a feeling it could be a lot smaller one.
Ambitious
Would be confused if Green made it into the squad over Hendrick though, it would make no sense other than a selection based on reputation. Like I said, good luck to green but I can't help but feel if he steps up he'll just be a squad player / on the bench. I think he needs to step down a division if he wants to be more effective, be a good signing for Huddersfield or Swindon.
CumbrianRam
If Wes Hoolahan can't get into the squad, then Green should be nowhere near it!

t'oldu
according to a yorkshire sports reporter talking about Leeds in the early hours of yesterday morning on TalkSport Warnock has several players lined up to sign for Leeds in May . Paul Green was specifically mentioned.. So far none have actually been announced so the guess is that several may complete this week..

Ambitious
There is something very dodgy about Green being in the full team and Hendrick only in the under 21s considering the vast difference in quality in the season just gone, id be a bit miffed if I was Hendrick, shows massive flaws in the Irish scouting network, they must just run on newspaper tabloids! McRamFan
Maybe they are looking at hendrick to be one for the future, I can understand it as hendrick has had one good season, Greeny has had a couple and has more experiance at this point - yeah i am being a bit neutral, and actually think hendrick is a better player now. blackNwhites
Hendrick has only just made the step up to first team football and the u21's, Green has experience of international football, not that I rate him. Hendrick is still one for the future.
Gary Teale
Trap has stuck by the players who have done a good job for him, you cant blame him for that, he knows what he will get from all of them. Green wont play anyway bar injuries
davenportram
Hendrick - only just broke into first team football. Still young and inexperienced and can only play 1 position Green - experienced player, capable of very good performances. Can cover right mid and right back as well as centre of midfield I know which I would take to a tournament where injuries and suspensions mean players may be needed to play out of normal positions
uttoxram75
Dav's right. Hendricks is an athlete, big lad with a decent touch and may well have a good career ahead of him but Green can slot in and do a job, something that managers (rightly or wrongly) put a lot of store in. Green will look a better player with more talented players around him. Personally i think Jimi is a better player but I can fully understand why Green is in the Ireland squad ahead of him. HenryKrinkle
What happens if Hendrick does his ligaments playing for U21s or in a friendly - will be thin on the ground with no Bailey or Green to step in. Can't see us buying much in the way of Centre Mids.
