derbyram1994
What has happened to all of these established championship players were are meant to be getting, I know it is early days but in my opinion we should be looking to get bigger players first as they will have more interest from other clubs, after reading this article - http://mightyramsnews.blogspot.com/2011/05/rams-chasing-burton-goalkeeper-adam.html i wouldn't be too bothered about signing Legzdins or Chris Maguire for that matter but I would rather see us chasing the bigger names first what do you think? I think our best signings were Brayford and Bailey. I also think you need to stop judging on rumour and speculation and judge firstly when the window closes, and secondly after whoever has signed has played a fair few games. Lower league Players? Actually it's only one, and it's a goalkeeper for back up to Fielding - who is an U21 international and IMO a big name. So for the keeper spot we signed the big name first and then looking for a cheap good backup. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.
CornwallRam
Agree with Dav on this one. An impressive player to be signed as back up, especially when for the last two seasons Deeney has been deemed to be adequate back up. We still have Deeney and Atkins and Severn are more experienced so it would have been perfectly justifiable not to bother with another keeper. Are the stupid penny pinching days over? For goodness sake... this is the kind of negativity that stops me bothering with this forum very often. We're interested in Waghorn, Tyson, Shackell, Eustace and we've already signed Ward. All established Championship players. Let's at least wait until our business is done before we start the whinging. Oh, and Ledgzins is a good signing for me... a top lower league keeper as back-up to the England U21 keeper, and unlike Deeney, good enough to keep Frank on his toes. As for Maguire... have you seen him play, then? You must have seen enough to make you 'not bothered'...
WilkoRam
I see nothing wrong with any of the signings so far or the people we're on the verge of signing. That said I can understand how some people would not be thrilled by the signings and thats the dangerous game being played with the 'money back' offer. We may sign 9 good players but if none of them capture some fans imagination then they may well be asking for a refund. Personally for me though, so far so good and i hope for a bit of creativity to come in soon.
CumbrianRam
I'd rather have a 21 year old League One/Two player who is getting rave reviews at their club compared than a 30 year old CCC journeyman.

Someone who actually wants a career rather than someone knowing they have one comfortably is what we should be looking at, but coming from League 1 and 2 means they aren't good enough you should know this! We've already signed our number 1 goalkeeper, are you really that bothered about us signing decent back-up? Surely it doesn't matter when these so-called bigger names come, as long as they're here for August.

Cisse
At least I`m happy with the way we are dealing with next season. Didn`t expect that we sign all the best players in may. Being optimistic at the moment.

Such a shame that this has happened to one of the greatest footballers of my generation........ Hyperthyroidism actually makes a lot of sense. My father-in-law was suffering from it and looked just like the image of Ronaldo you posted there...all puffy and fat looking. They only figured it out when he got half his face pulled off by a dog and the surgeon realised there was something really wrong with him (aside from his face hanging off). A simple pill taken daily solves it so let's get 'im in here!!
Derby_Dave
Thoroughly predictable thread really. It was only a matter of time. At least we have a new catchphrase in 'Established championship players'. Makes a change from hearing ' Barker type fees' and the dreaded ' where is the promised £50 million?'.
