I aint forgot about them Mr.Glick. When watford fans/managers/players talk about Eustace there seems to be ONE key word that is consistent, that key word is 'Influential' I feel you've made a blind guess on what you saw from a half fit eustace 2 years ago, who came in on an emergency loan, not like he had time to learn the players around him either. I'd like to see Bueno about the place if that was the preffered line up. He has a bit of something those don't. He'd make a good option. Also there would be Green to comeback. - a nice boost. Pearson and Robinson can inject even more pace after Waghorn and Ward have ran defenders. S Davies IMO looks far more an attacking midfielder than a striker so options, options, options Just the 5 midfielders in that would make me feel really confident going into the season. I wasn't patronising but I don't know where you are getting your information from, you said you made your own conclusions and then went on to say 'something I heard' it seems to me that we're hearing different things about the same player.. some snippets, from the watford fans.. influential senior squad member with loads of championship experience - how many of those have we got? Eustace must stay. Oh dear! If Eustace goes to Derby for £200k, I think I will just give up! We would've had over double that had we not signed Deeney who is total crap for his price tag. I think Eustace is one of the most improtant players we have alongside Taylor and Cowie. I would much rather see Graham go. I pray this is just some sort of sick joke! Eustace would be even harder to properly replace than Graham, he absolutely must stay. Without Eustace we would have quite possibly been in a relegation fight. Eustace holds our team together. When he got injured we were exposed. I would much rather see Graham go than Eustace. In terms of market value, okay Eustace is probably worth about that, but to us he is worth so so much more!! I can't imagine Malky would be too happy if he lost his captain and most influential player. Eustace is a great captain and a superb Championship player! Always gives 100% and is a really decent fella. Would sell him for 2 million never mind 200K! Eustace is as important to the team and the club in general as DG10. He's been very good this season, is our captain and one of our very few experienced players. Ideally we'll keep him. ustace was one of our best players this season and he is worth way more to our team that the 250k represents, most of which is experience-related which you cannot replace for that money just a few amongst others, I tried to get an all round feel to what the Watford fans think to him, the key words, experienced, leader, also the comments on his ability are nice. As i've said, I can't see why everyone has this down for a bad signing.. when he sounds like everything we've been shouting out for, in terms of leadership on the pitch.. Tito Villa, Mile Sterjovski, Benny Feilhaber..etc these were all high regarded players abroad who couldn't cut it in the english game. Alberto Bueno is a very VERY talented footballer, however his impact on most games is very poor, I prefer to pick up players who I know can play to the english game.
