Another striker wouldn't solve anything IMO, the problems are in midfield and signing a striker that relies heavily on service when ours is frankly quite poor, would just be bad. He'd be another club to him, and he wouldn't last the season. I could be proven wrong and his goal record is exciting, obviously but we need to get that central midfield sorted out, it's produced absolutely naff all and to boot, is transparent as other teams piss straight through, no problems! Donny's chairman is just trying to squeeze the most he can from them. 2.5 or 3m, can any Derby fan (even having been to a xmas party and full of cheer) see our board paying anything like that for one player ?? We need full back cover AND MAYBE CENTRE BACK TOO. We maybe need more options in midfield and a goalscorng striker.
