Apart from a 1 to 2 week window end of theseason, when will these gigs take place? Zero return on a roof. We'd be looking at 1 or 2 gigs per off-season, each with a fixed rate of close to £500k. 60-70% of that would be eaten up by costs.

Dan_Ram
Weren’t there some mock-up pictures floating around somewhere many years ago of PP with a roof. Not sure if they were official commissions by Mel or fan made.
Dan_Ram
Found it. These ‘rendered images’ were created by StadiaVision back in 2021 when their owner Mike Horton was rumoured to be part of a consortium taking over from Mel. Wolfie and eccles the ram 1

TomBustler1884
Big issue with gigs is that the type of trucks they use to transport staging can't fit into the ground making set up/breakdown a logistical nightmare. The roof had been designed to a point, but I believe there were question marks around whether it would actually ever work in practice.
