The thing is we all want a manager who stays with the Club long term, but I don't think that being here long term makes them the right manager for the Club. Millenniumram
I’m beginning to think a 4 week contract would have been too much. Will he be in his job longer than Liz Truss? I hope not. RoyMac5 and SKRam 1
Jourdan
I would have given him a two year contract. We’ve seen before that long contracts bring security, but they can also be burdensome. A two year deal would have been in line with the business plan and the contracts given out to the majority of the squad, and you can always have optional extensions built in. I think there was risk for both sides, so it would have been sensible.
