Century for Dal, who has at least made it respectable, great effort from Conners to stay with him to.

First century of the competition, which kind of says it all.

Yes, gave the home crowd something to cheer at last.

Next home game almost a month away. Ridiculous!

I enjoyed the tail’s fight to respectability. They batted sensibly and well. Disappointing day though only made worse when somehow I mis-placed my pint cup and lost my £2 deposit! That’s it for me now for the season. P5 W0 D0 L5.

The club have been confirmed Haider Ali has played his last game for the club.

He’s had a decent year for a 22 year old playing in England for the first time, scoring over 1000 all format runs.

Averages:

Championship - 32.06

One Day Cup - 34.28

T20 - 25.76

One century and seven half centuries across the three formats.

He was fun to watch when he got going, but we didn't see it enough. Coupled with Lakmal being often injured and largely ineffective, we didn't get enough from our overseas players this year - though Zaman Khan was good in the T20.

Hopefully we get more from Mohammad Amir and whoever else comes in next season.

We're going on holiday to Scarborough at the end of next week. Might watch a bit of cricket while we're up there. Wonder who the Yorkies are playing?

<checks fixtures>

Well, well.

Quite a trek but great bar, cans only no bottles into the ground btw

Thanks for the info. Vocation mint chocolate stout it is then.

We're a bit too feeble to walk a mile and a half to the ground, so may use the cricket Park and Ride (driving 1.5 miles south, then getting the bus which stops outside the main gate).

I'm going up for the Monday only.  Is the ground far from the station?

15 minutes walk. I stay near the ground every year if you need any food and drink recommendations
