Shipley Ram
Oooh, easy catch at first slip dropped. (I say easy but I'm not confident I'd have taken it) Edited April 30, 2022 by Shipley Ram

Glamorgan still trailing - just - with one wicket remaining

jimbo jones
Glamorgan 387 all out - lead of 19 Lakmal gets his first 5 for, great to see him getting the wickets he deserves finally. Hopefully plenty more to come Some pronounced invariable bounce starting to happen, with a bit more deterioration, if we can set a bit of a target, it could be a tricky day tomorrow for Glamorgan - weather permitting. we will have to score runs a lot more quickly than we have been doing though. JoetheRam
Just make sure we don't do anything stupid this afternoon and take the draw with rain looking likely tomorrow. jimbo jones
Eddie
Managed to get along for a couple of hours today. Just being there gives the Memsahib a real lift - and the warm sunshine helps, of course. jimbo jones, Hans Datdo-Dishes, sage and 2 others
sage
Derbyshire flying this morning. Maybe a daring lunchtime declaration is on the cards. jimbo jones

jimbo jones
Lead of 268 at lunch. Guest and Madsen both with centuries and still at the crease. I don’t imagine a declaration comes before we pass 300. In any case it seems unlikely we will bowl them out in 2 sessions with the pitch still playing very well. Unless we manage a couple of early wickets and the Glamorgan batting line up crumbles under pressure.

It does look like it's starting to turn though jimbo jones
sage
Finally declared. We have 56 overs to get them out If we take 2 or 3 early ones I may pop down.
Eddie
Brooke Guest became the first Derbyshire wicketkeeper to score a century in each innings since William Storer achieved the feat in 1896. Grumpy Git and angieram

jimbo jones
Lakmal strikes straight away, stunning catch by Du Plooy. If we can get Labuschagne out it could get interesting ?
Grumpy Git
Sam Connors being put to the sword early doors. Labuschagne has just knocked him for three successive boundaries and he's conceded 37 runs from three overs. ? sage
We have to go slightly more defensive if this continues.
