richinspain
?. Love the Stranglers (at least the Hugh Cornwell Stranglers). For a punk band they did some great pop music, and all with Dave Greenfield's keyboards as a lead instrument. RIP Dave. Bow locks to this bloody disease ? Gee SCREAMER !!
Seems to be a few Stranglers fans on here, Just to let you know a company in America called Newbury comics were recently selling signed cds by Hugh Cornwell where he reworked a number of Stranglers hits. Picked one up for about 15 quid. They do loads of promo signed cds for various artists . Closed at the moment but worth having a look if your interested when they re- open . ramit
Stranglers had a locally famous gig in Reykjavík in 78, which turned into pure mayhem and left a lasting impression on the many who attended. The local punk movement got a kick start from that concert. http://www.thestranglers.co.uk/?p=8031
