Biggest difference in this game for me was the team shape, which may have not been apparent if you were sat in the East/West stands. Both Jozefzoon and Waghorn were much narrower and were playing the width of the box, rather than the touchline. This allowed much more support for the central striker and enabled Martin to play to his strength with his lay offs and hold up play. Was a subtle change, but it paid off with us looking more fluid in the forward areas, particularly first half, than we have in a long time.

There were negatives, obviously, such as the switch to three centre backs which seemed to surrender the wings second half to allow them to pump ball after ball into the box, which is their strength and our weakness. Don't know if this was intentional, but it was a concerning tactic. We did look tired at times, but I think Holmes, who was phenomenal first half, and Martin particularly can only improve with more games in that regard. Huddlestone has been a little better in the last couple of home games, but it only took one small drop of the shoulder from the player he was marking in the middle second half and he was 5 yards away from him... that turning circle is alarming.

However, won't focus too much on the negatives because it was an "any means necessary" kind of game. Roos looked to gain massive confidence after the penalty save, Paterson was a different player to what he's shown so far and it's fantastic to see Bogle back too, we've really missed him.

The WhoScored team of the weekend features Kelle Roos - which is impressive considering we conceded two goals.  Must have done a lot of other stuff right.

Chris Martin just missed out to Steven Fletcher. Martin scored an 8.4.

Etebo gets in but not a single Forest player.  got to question the worth of this.

The decision that surprised me was the yellow card for Bielick just before ht for climbing on their player, which didn't look too be a foul anyway.

It was a foul and a definite yellow, he misjudged the flight of the ball and when he fell to the ground he pulled their player down, some refs could have sent him off for it.

In the game he had joint most shots, completed the most dribbles, 98% pass completion, won 2nd most tackles, made the most interceptions. For the statistical side of the game, he had some very good numbers.
