The balance in the midfield helped bring out some of his best qualities in that season.

Animal is a Ram
The balance of Thorne, Johnson and Butterfield was about right in that run under Clement that got us the top positions. There was physicality, passing and vision in about the right amounts. We haven't been anywhere close since.

Disagree and debate, no? But fixing other opinions? Bizarre. I believe Hughes is quality on his day, as is Butterfield. I deal in more than black or white. Abu Derby
So, Johnsons on the move then - where to exactly? Unless I've missed something I haven't yet seen that he's linked to anybody. Please enlighten.

GB SPORTS
Really have no opinion on BJ However being a bit of a stats geek there are some telling stats when he plays to when he doesn't. Since Signed he has started 69 games We have won 33 Drawn 19 and lost 17 That's an average of 1.71 points /game (79 over a whole season) When he hasn't played 27 games 10wins 7 draws and 10 defeats 1.37 points per game. He has his limitations but "Stats" seem to suggest we pick up more points when he plays. Reminds me of McGovern back in the glory days no one sees his contributions but he is missed when not there. maydrakin
This thread is irritating. Johnson is going nowhere - he spoke warmly about a club where he had the greatest amount of success. People are searching for outrage for the sake of it. He'll be player of the season this time next year...
