Marshall is a league one version of Anya. No need for him here. I'd take any of the rest though.

Abraham is destined for a loan move to a Prem team, shame really.A player that would do us brilliantly is Tom Lawrence from Leicester who's been on loan at Ipswich.Different gravy!

The Scottish Record are reporting Rangers are willing to sell Windass for £150,000. Worth a punt?

If a crap team like Rangers are prepared to let a player go for £150k then no.

Come on, Wolfie! Windass with 150k would definitely be wort a pun

I know this is another striker i am suggesting here he plays for blackpool he scored against play off 2nd leg.

He is a big black striker i can not remmber his name. But he looks rather handy in the air. And i think gary rowwett type of play he tall and a threat with his pace also.

Gary mackay-Stevens from Celtic is a decent player and I think he's leaving Celtic this year, would be a great signing imo

So difficult to judge someone who plays at such a low standard...Conor Sammon looked good up there...

Why, when I have forced myself to watch Scottish football and seen him, he has looked slow, actually unfit. If he can't get a game at a League 2 equivalent club like Rangers he should be nowhere near our first team (and I think we need to bring in potential starters rather than anymore players for the future)...

Tom Lawrence - Leicester

Marc Roberts - Barnsley

Ryan Frederick - Fulham

Erhun Oztumer - Walsall

Martin Samuelson - West Ham

I have seen the bottom two players a few times and both are quality players who make things happen, they might be bench players but both have game changing abilities in my view.

I would also like to see a pacey winger or even two and then think we'd ready for a proper go at promotion.

obviously unloading a few eg Blackman,Camara,Butterfield,Ollson,Bent

Jason mccarthy 21 southampton is a full back / centre back, physically strong. Has just spent a full season on loan at walsall at full back. Seems to prefer full back atm. Scored a few goals. Described as 'outstanding'. Chased by sheffield united. Has one year left on his contract. Can cover more than one position. Is not going to want to go back to u23 football after the year he has had. Southampton may be tempted to sell. The championship is the next logical step for him.

Liam Lindsay 21 partick thistle . left footed centre back. Emerging talent in scotland. Physiclly strong. 6 foot 4. Good first touch. Good in the air. Scored a few goals. Under contract until summer 2019. linked with Leeds united and promoted bolton. Rated at @£750k. Being tipped for a Scotland call up.

Grant ward 22 ipswich. Previously on loan with rotherham and originally with spurs. Versatile. Can play as a winger. Can play no10. Has played right wing back and left wing back. Has settled into an central attacking midfield role. Right footed. Scored quite a few from 25 yards +.  “Wardy’s been a really big star for us over the season, to be honest,” McCarthy said. “I think he’s played really well and played in a number of positions".

Callum robinson 22 preston. Formerly with aston villa. Two footed wide striker. Fast. Tricky. Described by Paul Lambert as a natural finisher. Has played for england at every level up to u20. Preston claim there was strong interest in him in january transfer window. “I’ve enjoyed playing as a striker and scoring a few goals. “I like playing anywhere across the front, whether it is down the middle or out on the wing supplying others.”

Ben Brereton 18 forest. Outstanding prospect. Timing is everything if we are to have any chance of signing him. A big bid now might be favourable to the new owner as he is apparently stalling on a new contract with forest. Leave it and he will be off to the Prem.however he surely won't want to go back to reserve football.  Strong. Direct. Good option for a player or players plus cash exchange. Forest need players. We need to get grid of players. An exchange solves the 'don't sell to Derby' problem.  Plays up front but looks like a handfull and a possible attacking midfielder to me.

Brereton was at the centre of things again, producing the brand of electric all round performance that will have had visiting scouts busily scribbling notes in the stand.

Warburton knows Brereton will continue to attract admiring glances from the Premier League, with Liverpool and Arsenal regularly monitoring is progress for some time now.

Having watched our feeble performance v rotherham away where the attacking midfield quartet of ince, bryson, johnson, and russell produced virtually nothing, i would hope that ward, brereton, and robinson with hughes and ince could develop nicely. We need to build with young players around Hughes in my opinion. But if we do lose hughes then ryan ledson is a good option. I'd keep the lynch pins of keogh, thorne, hughes, and nugent or martin to build a new team around.

ryan ledson 19 oxford, formerly with everton. Very highly rated midfield prospect. Left everton to get more opportunities to play which shows great attitude. Needed to develop physically in order to progress which is just a matter of time. EFL Young Player of the Month for February. Will represent England at the Under-20 World Cup.

6 is more than enough in one transfer window.

Whilst this may be a decent shout - I haven't seen enough of any of these players to make a call, however with regards to signing promising youngsters with at least two more years on their contract, from clubs in the same division, we would have to pay through the nose to get them.

If you think that we (as fans) quote £15m for Hughes, I could see the likes of Preston and Ipswich demanding £7-8m for a promising player on a lengthy contract.

A player like Lindsay sounds interesting, although he looks like he's played mostly on the right of a back three and is right footed.

For Grant Ward maybe offer johnson in part ex. Alternatively we can wait for him.

I can assure you that Lindsay is left footed - see below - video filmed 3 years ago.

Lesson was highly rated at Everton, a good midfielder. Can't say I've seen Oxford this season but he seems to have had a good season developing
