Hi,

Been postin a while now, but thought I'd let you all get to now me better.

I'm Barnaby, born in Derby on April 15th 1995, but lived up in southport all my life as I was born a month early while my parents went to watch the game ( wasn't born in the stand before you ask), now in college doing a BTEC in sport and going into the army in April.

Hi all My

bruv inroduced me to the forum a few months ago and we enjoy chatting with everyone on matchdays etc. broke my leg in 1969 and had nothing better to do than watch TV. Didn't like football much but saw my local side, the Rams, playing well and was mesmerised by a certain Brian Clough. I grew to love the game, the manager, and the team. With my brother and Dad we went to matches and saw the team grow into league champions.

I had a Pentax SV(still got it in fact) as my hobby was photography. I took it to the BBG and got some great shots. Also some of the team parading the League championship trophy.

Anyone interested in seeing the photos if I post some on the site?

Welcome to the forum Barnaby - and may the best of British luck go with you into the Army. Respect. 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Good morning everybody, if anybody's up yet, Geriatram here.As you can see I have not posted A great deal, but I have been reading this board and the one before it for A couple of years or so.You will see from my name I am an older person, they call us older internet users silver surfers.if I tell you the first game I saw for real was in 1954 in the third division north you will see im getting on a bit,In those 58 years or so I have seen the Rams hundreds of times home and away, many of those I will never forget. And Tuesday night was one,not for the football, but for the atmosphere at PP almost BBG standard.Unfortunately the next day OTT media coverage took the shine off the result A little bit.So to lighten the mood A little I think the south east corner need some more songs so here is my effort. The words fit the tune of,

Im H.A.P.P.Y.

Were Derby till we die.

The Rams are in our blood.

We've never liked another team.

We know we never could.

Born and raised in black and white.

We wear the shirt with pride.

Come on you rams its up to you

so take it in your stride.

Come on Derby,come on Derby,

YOU wear the shirt be proud.

Be up for it and bring it on

And make us sing and shout.

Were Derby till we die.

Were Derby till we die.

Come on you Rams.

Come on you Rams.

WERE DERBY TILL WE DIE.

Yes I know its all a little bit naff but no worse than Steve Bloomers watching.
