Archie Posted September 27, 2016 Share Posted September 27, 2016 Well bugger me, is this just a one off, reverting to type on Saturday or will the return of the 4-3-3 formation, higher pressing, quicker passing be effective enough in the championship this season? We had faults with the 4-3-3 before, people saying we couldn't play it without Thorne and Martin, not being able to break teams down, wobbly at the back - there's not only one way to play the 4-3-3, maybe this time we'll play it differently, more organised, more pace up front. The only way ı could believe this is if the players in the meeting on Sunday had agreed together to challenge NP to play this way. Perhaps this was the beginning of the end for him?
