According to Port Vale Supporters Club RVDL has had a heart attack. Sad news and wish him a speedy recovery.

Genuine legend of Derby County and eternally grateful for his contribution to this great club.

Wish you well Robbie.

Just read the same thing. Get well soon Robin.

Blimey a couple of days after the 20th anniversary of our promotion with Robbie scoring the winning goal. Can't believe this, hope he gets well soon.

Non-plussed when he signed, delighted with how he turned out. Leader.

Good luck to him for a speedy recovery.

What sad news. Guessing he isn't that old either?

First memory of RVDL is him putting a free kick past Shilts at Vale Park. Think it was the day after Captain Bob went swimming in the ocean.

Was delighted when we signed him and he turned out to be a fantastic leader.

Still sends a shiver down my spine watching the header against Palace.

crumbs - only 47... hope he makes a speedy recovery... I slept worse the night before that Palace game than I did the night before my wedding. Should've been more relaxed with Robbie on the case, great leader and as it turns out a reasonable header of a football...
