Some great goals there, seems to be a late bloomer. Worked his way up. I'll be happy if this comes off, get the feeling Paul might be looking at different ways to incorporate the new players. Make us a bit more dynamic going forward.

He's from Sheffield isn't he? Well, he played for United

From Salford apparently.

Plenty of reasons for him to join them over us though. They could offer him more money.

We could turn around and say "you'll be a squad player. You won't be a guaranteed starter but you'll get a chance"

SWFC could say "you're a guaranteed starter, we'll base our attack around you"

In that case you'd have to question why he'd choose the former over the latter.

Sheffield Wednesday fans aren't to happy about us.

I do enjoy when fans from other clubs try and value what another club spent, because they always push the most expensive price.

The Wednesday fan must have some inside info because Butterfield's fee rising to six million is the first I've heard of that.

Chris Powell reiterated it on the Football League Show on Saturday.
