Ewe Ram
sorry if in wrong section Does anyone know if you buy a pass to watch on your iPad when out of the country Sky Sports uses location services? I know it won't show content in my location but using a VPN service is possible, would that work?

Spanish
Could just, y'know, stream it.I've always found the picture quality to be poor and subject to spooling. Also concerned with risks of virus. Is there a site that you prefer that avoids all this?

Mr Tibbs
There's a VPN app called Tunnel Bear I used to watch the cricket on Sky Go in Ibiza a few weeks back. Works pretty well. (iTunes).

Mostyn6
if it's on Sky, a pub/bar somewhere will show it, and if there's a time difference of only a couple of hours, it's quite nice watching 10pm kick off.
Animal is a Ram
Not entirely sure, as I don't use Sky Go, but will it work with location services disabled? Then again, if streaming over Wifi, it will probably block it via the IP location.VPN's most likely the way to go - but if it was me I'd be in a bar somewhere! Day
You won't need VPN's or anything like that, Bet365 are streaming it and you can watch through their site if you are abroad.
PrivateDerby
I'll be watching in a bar in Olu Deniz Turkey.Do they do the G G G G G GOOOOAAAALL thing in Turkey? I nearly gave an old boy a heart attack in Barcelona when Ward danced along the line and put it through Camps legs to equalise after Mad Frankie got sent off, in 'that' match. PrivateDerby
You can't beat being abroad and walking round the bars asking if the Derby match is on later.Go back, freshen up, get your shirt on, stroll back to the bar, quick look around for rival fans, find the perfect viewing table, order a load of drinks from the stunning waitress...Ahhhhh Why watch it on your device when you can do the above? I try and do the international tournaments on holiday, but when I used to have enforced summer shutdowns, I'd be away in mid August and we'd always be on TV. I remember Leeds v Derby in Tenerife when Johnno's header was disallowed for no reason in 2004, in Linekers surrounded by Dirty Leeds fans in my Derby top.I can also remember a boring 0-0 v Bolton at the start of the Prem season, and the start of 2013 season, a poor game against Blackburn, watched in the Slainte bar in Stalis, Crete.
