BBC now reporting that Clement will take over at Derby this week.

Pure journalistic speculation

(I'm going to be right with that Arthur Coxism one day - you'll see)

:P

It may be that the possibility of Mel Morris and a little bit of Candy Crush might attract him.

maybe he will look how long our fans gave Maclaren, accepting stylish football and high-scoring wins, the youth academy and facilities.

we are not be in the premiership, and we also create a huge goldfish bowl for the media. Imagine he didnt win in his first 2 games in the Championship..... We would be on him from the every start.

I think thats what you meant mate.

Basically says its a done deal, and their source is BBC Derby Sport.

Sam Rush doesn't muck about.

Mind you though, he seems a bit of a loser. Only second in La Liga and the Chsnpions League semi-finals this year. No wonder he's looking for a new job, that's just poor.

Yep and part of a team that blow £200million and won nothing this year, WOW he sounds the saviour of us already!

You complain about that, but just look at all that money that was invested in the squad this season. How on earth could it not scrape a draw out of a pretty poor Reading team?

I don't think there are many out there that seriously think he's our 'saviour', in fact, it only seems like you using that word. Most that have their heads screwed on think its a risk. But then, so is any other move.

How can they not win la liga? Barcelona only have messi, Neymar and Suarez. Anyone could beat that lot.

In football circles, he's been heard of as a good young coach with his own ideas of training techniques etc.

maybe run of the mill supporters haven't heard of him as the tunnel vision with their own club restricts the view.

i can't say is heard of him pre Xmas which is when he was being talked about as the new up coming young coach working abroad.

who'd heard of Roy Hodgson when he was winning stuff abroad?

also,

did everyone forget the England and forest failures of Mac pre him arriving?  Was that not a risk?

im happy with the possibility of him coming to help us get promoted.

if he gets a move to a big club because of his time at Derby then that can only mean one thing, we are in the prem.

then we'll have other managers begging to coach us like Southampton did after they lost their young coach.

so there
