wixman1884
Seriously though, this is worth it - Fantastic backup and leadership at the very least. His game hardly relies on his mobility anyway
G STAR RAM
Yes, no harm in this.Hopefully just as back up for George Thorne but there again we all thought that this season too!
Mostyn6
he's proven me wrong a couple of times, but I cannot help myself from thinking this deal isn't the 'progress' the club should be trying to make.

TheDeadlySaul
Proven leader and decent backup for Thorne when Eustace plays the team does a lot better and I'm sure he isn't on large wages too.
Mostyn6
been more injury prone than Ward this season.... not sure he's that decent a back-up from the A&E ward.

Gary Teale
If he had been fit we would have made the play offs at least. I don't care how old he is if he can do the job
Ovis aries
Another year at least , if he proves his fitness , we sorely missed him last backend .

I Am Sheep
I'm happy about this. Eust is one of our most underrated players and it would be nice to see him for another year if he can get fit again.
Mostyn6
I'd have personally gone and got Guedioura from Wolves.

Mostyn6
You would have come back empty handed unless you carried on South as he's on loan to Watford from PalaceI actually corrected myself as well! I was right the first time. But I knew that he wasn't owned by Watford.
Gypsy Ram
Could do with a 28 year old Eustace but at his age I can't help but think he'll miss more than half of the season with no guarantees that Thorne will be fit.
Uptherams
For all my criticisms of Eustace, we need him or someone like him. Of course if Thorne is fit for every match we would not need him.
Stive Pesley
Let's all take a reality check TWO seasons ago Watford released him as being "too old"We're now considering keeping him on for a THIRD season.Stupid Watford - what do they know, they won't be laughing when Eustace is bullying them next season..erm hang on
Orphanram
I don't think it will do any harm at all having Eustace around for another year. I also think S Mac could be smarter when and where he can utilise Eustace this season and be more effective managing around the fixtures. I wouldnt fall out with him playing Eustace and Thorne together in certain fixtures that are more difficult in and around a run of other games where we will be more confident of taking maximum points. A lot of the top managers do this and whilst this can be accused of being boring I think we may have to adopt an approach like this at certain times this season.I completely get that argument that we should probably look at a younger version though, but after last season I'm leaning towards be less risk averse
