PistoldPete2
Martin didn't look fully fit on Saturday, neither did russell. Mind you not many else did either. If he has any fitness left I would still like to see martin on the bench, in case we f### up against blackpool. Like some of our cup games rest martin until it becomes obvious we still need him. Guest
How come all of a sudden we are now prepared to risk playing players that are not fit? Why, despite being told that we would, did we not 'risk' unfit players when we still had a chance of automatic promotion? And just so people are aware I do not think we should be 'risking' players in any situation because we have a big enough squad to not be doing that. Ashz09
With Martin saying he was knackered vs Wigan after a little run I think it's time to give him a rest now put hi on the bench.
The Scarlet Pimpernel
I think Martin now needs to gain match fitness not sit on the bench the whole game. Start Bent and bring on Martin at half time.
1977 Ram Raider
wod ya mean - he looked great down the left wing lolI bet he loves it on the wing, closer to the smell of chicken balti pies from the concourse.

Bridgford Ram
Season as good as over. We needed him to be match sharp and firing on all cylinders for the play offs.

B4ev6is
I know with my hamstring it has never got better some days it is fine and other days I can really feel it and so bloody painful.
davenportram
I think with Bent being taken off so early Mac is desperate to keep him injury free. Could be a sign that Chris Martin could be out for a bit .

Day
Don't think he wanted Bent scoring more goals, might want more money when we sign him. Sensible move...
Brammie Steve
Just as long as we don't assume we're already there and rest players before the playoffs and then find we're not!!

Ambitious
Yeah, Bent is out of contract. I fancy him to sign for a side like Hull, Sunderland or Swansea. He's shown that he can put the ball in the net and for nothing, I think Premier League teams will take the chance on him. I don't think he will be a Derby player next season unless we're promoted and even then, I would have doubts.
