Came up against some very established, experienced and better talented pro's today and they took advantage of that. Whilst I'm pleased for him especially with the corner/goal he was poor and never an outlet to any of our players. Lost the ball way too much for a player in that role. Good experience for him. Rev Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 I'd give him a 7 also because based on the nature of the game, the importance of the game and the fact it was his debut he looked very good to me. There were a number of occasions where the ball came to him when he was being closed down by several norwich players and he calmly laid the ball across or over to another player. Good start by him and a long way to go to establish himself but he should be proud tonight. Also, I think it was pretty obvious that he crossed that corner into the goalkeeper because he has such good vision. He saw into the future and knew it would go in. He came on with a great big bandage on his head and played a bit better. He did ok but needs a while to get up to speed. He aint the answer to my prayers.
