Sexydadbod
How would you like to see us play? Would you like to see us using this current formation or would you like to see us being a bit more defensive? Second question- How would this current team do in the prem? YorkshireRam
1. Same formation, why change when it's worked so well for us thus far. 2. This team would struggle. We would need 2 new CBs before the season started and probably a new winger to replace Ibe.
Cisse
Our formation should be decided after we saw what kind of players we have and what are their strenghts and weaknesses.
nfb
Both points above are valid, also, easier said than done, but it seems trying to grind out draws and maybe snatch a win has been tried by a lot, and failed... it seems that going for the 3 points is the better option, and thats where the teams who survive have goals in them... so i hope the holy trinity have some idea's because altho i like Martin,he isnt the answer in the Prem, and i doubt Ward and Russell or Bryson are either So we're gonna need a few quid
Derbados
honestly, if this team went into the prem as it is now we would finish bottom comfortably. Yes we are a decent team by Championship standards, but are we better than Burnley or Leicester when they went up last season? no, we're not and look at them, especially Burnley. If we went up i think Mac would have to be ruthless and cut away the majority of the squad if we were serious about staying up, The only players i can see making the grade are Hughes, Thorne, Grant and maybe Martin, Forsyth and Hendrick maybe, if they played top of their game every week, but how likely are they to do that?. The rest just arnet good enough for a sustained stay in the premier league, good champ players don't get me wrong but the premier league is a different animal all together. We would have to invest significantly imo, and build from there
Dimmu
Some percentage hoof ball would do. Maybe Zigic up front.
CumbrianRam
38 losses, minus 1000 gd.
Lord_Ram
Depends, the team playing how it is now, we'd be shitting ourselves, playing like at the back end of last season, may not survive but would be able to give a decent enough go
Sexydadbod
Some very good answers. Like u guys said I think that if we get promoted then we would need to change the squad a lot
AmericanRam
As much as I like Forsyth, perhaps a new LB for competition for him, new CB, new winger(perhaps someone like Niang from Milan on loan) and maybe one or two others.
Thorne
On current form we would need new: CB CB LB CDM cover ST At least one winger

Sexydadbod
Ithink 2 new cbs, 1 new lb, new sub cdm, 1 experienced premier league cm, 1winger and 1 striker
AmericanRam
As far as new, veteran striker several options could work.

gazram80
Same formation definitely and play the same. Im afraid that this current squad/team would be relegated, sad but probably true. see bottom 3 prem burnley qpr leiceseter . Likely to remain that way too. jimbobram
But in answer to the question, I think We need a quality cente back pairing and a left back. Also a winger who could preferably have the ability to beat a man and also whip a good corner in. Think central midfield would be good enough/ deserve a go in the prem. Martin definitely needs competition/ Backup
