Why would anyone hate a football club?

Don't mind friendly rivalry but hate bit strong.

Want to win, yes but won't be the end of life if we lose.

We are not really invading... It's a bit of a joke, only but don't tell everyone.

Just so you know and don't grass us up to dibble. Okay? Just between us two.

I have never been to a Forest vs. Derby game. How is the pre-match? Do fans of both teams cuss at each other? Or is it pretty mellow?

We are all polite English gentlemen who walk to the ground together whilst exchanging pleasantries.

Some might go to the public house and share a glass or two of sherry or a glass of mulled wine if the weather is chilly.

It's tense, and slightly hostile, but rarely to point of physical or verbal aggression. At least not around the stadium.

In days of yaw, some bouncing and windmilling were the order of the day. :o

Quaint English tradition.

So no scenes like in the film Green Street?  :(

Not been any proper fighting for years. Banning orders and heavy penalties for anybody involved in any trouble football related put paid to that.

But if you go to the right places, You can find trouble if you want it.

Most grounds and city centres are full of cctv and the courts only need a little reason to hit people hard.

People need to be hit hard. No reason for hooliganism imo, especially if it is violent. If you do not like a team, cuss their fans out, call them dirt sh@ts, whatever. But violence should not be a part of that.
