Seeing as crowds are going to get a lot more busy than of late i'm looking at alternate means. One option thrown my way is to catch a train from Tutbury. Wasnyt sure there is such a platform. Also is there a car park?

Stoke to Derby stops at Tutbury and Hatton, a fair few used to get on. ***** two carraige train, standing and cramped, especially when we're doing well.

Part of the Crewe-Derby line.

Like Private said though, it's never more than two carriages long. Not bad if you're coming back from uni at like 9pm but terrible on a Saturday afternoon.

Not sure about the car park. It's a really small station with some steps leading down (IIRC). There could be a car park around.

There's a little car park less than 2 minutes walk from it.

Can you get me the number of the train please.

Might be some dodgy characters from Utch on it now and again.......

We're you on that time them lads that claimed to be Gremlins were 'removed' at T&H?

"Stick the angel, stick the angel, stick the angel up your arse" It had not long been put up, was funny as fook.

It's an old one, Boycie.

I think it just goes by the name - "Rocket".

That would be an upgrade from the thing that operates at the minute.

Always smells of feet...

It is a little shitty thing but cheap and your not on it for long.As mentioned small car park just other side of mini roundabout but plenty of on street parking in the vacinity.

Park in the pub carpark. The castle

Last time i went to Tutbury there were three coach loads of nutters walking around.

Everyone in every shop was a nutter.

I've never been able to think of Tutbury, without thinking its full of nutters ever since.

Tutbury Castle is nice but overpriced, however if you try and pay by card they let you in free cuz they only take cash, dunno about the train though, still interesting nonetheless :-)

What do you mean by nutters?

That explains a lot , me and our kid , lived there for most of our youth..
