Old Spalding Ram
Of course we're all gutted by the result............so what did I take out of the day. ......sat next to a lady with her husband and couple of kids who fed me with chocolate biscuits at half time, on the other side was a chap with his son who were both crying their eyes out at 5 o'clock, spoke to the bloke with the Offally Rams flag, shook the hand of the chap from Krakow proudly sporting a Polski Rams flag, the Asian lads with the "Will Hughes not for sale" homemade poster. Nationality, religion, colour of your skin, age made no difference, this wasn't a Derby County crowd, this was a Derby County family ..................... and I for one am proud to be part of that family! Smalley Ram
Not feeling that bad really, deep down I kind of knew it might not be our day when they went down to ten men and was almost waiting for them to score. The thing that got me was the amount of QPR fans that didn't wait to see their team Celebrate etc at the end. Also rather weird was that as we made our way back to the car very few QPR fans seemed to be happy, I'd have been going mad, dancing etc. Didn't see a single QPR fan particularly enjoying the moment, odd. Van der MoodHoover
To the lad from Burton who was down with his dad for the game and had shed a tear, good luck for tomorrow. To the lad I met who'd flown over from Perth (Aus) having emigrated a week after our last play off final. To the chap on my left who was celebrating his 64th birthday. To the 2 lovely lasses with their dad on my right who kept encouraging the team throughout. To Heather, who I literally bumped into in the crowd and was at school with 30 odd years ago. Thanks all, for giving me memories that help keep perspective and remind me there was so much more to take positively out of yesterday than the result. danthebeast
Felt absolutely gutted when the goal went in, the walk to the coach was miserable and it taking 2 hours to get out of the bloody car park ,due to no police escorts or steward organisation, and having jubilant QPR fans with there tinpot free flags dancing around with huge grins on there faces.....urgh. Can't say I blame them, it feels amazing when you win a game like that, especially when it's such a big one but **** me its a horrible way to lose. I was saying to a mate when I eventually got back to the pub (4 and a half hours after the final whistle) that I'd rather have lost 4-0 than lost like that. At least you could hold your hands up and say "the best team won" but it just felt, well it still feel's,like we've been mugged. Kinda feel a bit better this morning, being a bit more philosophical about it. Moment's like that are what makes football the greatest sport in the world. Doesn't matter how much of the ball you have, how long you spend in the oppositions half, how many chances you create etc...the only thing that matters is the final score. And one mistake, one moment of brilliance can turn a game on it's head. It's devastating but it's what makes the game beautiful. Anyway, gotta move on. No point dwelling on it. Just hope we can keep the majority of the squad together and go one step further next year. Genuinely feeling very optimistic about next year. Chin up. Alph
Woke up. Still feel terrible. Took 4 and half hours to get there. 3 and half to get back (over an hour to get out car park) Horrible day, surrounded by moaners. If you were the young lad wearing the jester hat in front of me by two rows ( I was block 531 row 21 seat 142) then well played sir. Always backed the side. Was a good lad. climbon
I feel positive about next season and trust in McClaren...but god do I feel numb today...not sad, depressed or angry...just numb!!
NellyRam
I just feel that had we started the season slightly better, we would have got automatic promotion. My fear is that players will be enticed away, not just Hughes but Bryson and others. If Mac can get the likes of Thorne and Wisdom for another year and add to it we will be champions come next year. I believe that the board will support him after this seasons demonstration of what can be done. I feel guttered right now but I think the future is bright. col70
I am feeling upset, not for me but for my son. Seeing Derby at Wembley dosent happen often and will proberbly be with his children the next time ! But as most of the people have said I was PROUD to be a rams fan yesterday and we showed a lot of class with how we have handled this defeat. Being up in Yorkshire makes it harder as the fun our Leeds/Hull supporters will try to wind us up but like yesterday we will turn the other cheek cos it will soon be August and we go again. Proud to be in the Derby County Family.
Gypsy Ram
The best way forward is for the board to show real intent on automatic promotion next year by signing Thorne and keeping our key players here: Martin, Hughes and Hendrick.
TomBustler1884
I feel okay about yesterday at the moment. I don't think it will be under September 1st and after the transfer window closes that we will be able to say how important the loss was. If we keep our team, then it shouldn't matter, if we lose our midfield then it was a catastrophe. Wait and see

REDCAR
Hughes can't get in our side anyway... Deadwood get rid. (I'm obviously not being serious)
North_Stand_Ram
Never felt this bad after losing a football match. Far worse than the Leicester final. Probably due to the fact that after the red I thought we'd do it. Gutted ain't the word
Gritstone Ram
I'm been thinking about the match yesterday. So unlucky. I am taking action to prevent any reccurrence of this kind of failure. My lucky pants are in the bin.

There isn't much loyalty in football but I'm hoping the aforementioned have enjoyed this season enough to want to give it one more crack and/or the board look to replace any quality we might lose with similar players. TangerineArmy
Must say I'm gutted for you lot after watching you in the pub with my mate who is a Derby fan (as well as pool). I always said that QPR would scab going up (with how much they have spent I was so hoping they didn't go up) and would scab the play off's but after you got to the final I thought you would beat them. I still can't believe they fecking did it. I know how you guys are feeling as we had same experience against West Ham. But chin up, you have got a decent manager/board and quality squad so will be up there next season without a doubt. It could be worse you could be us...... a Chairman who doesn't give a toss (and is taking out all the prem money for himself), no manager, only 6 players (and none of them of real quality) and a club in utter shambles. Oh must say brilliant from your fans at bloomers this season singing anti oyston chants. Top notch fans and I'll be cheering you on next season to go up All the best from BFC
