Injured.

He got off the coach at 1:30 and a fan asked him for his autograph. Steve picked up a pen, a gust of wind blew it from his hand and the pen landed, freakishly, point-up. Steve bent down to pick it up and impaled his eyeball on it. In panic his hand slipped across a page of the kid's autograph book and the resultant paper cut tore his flesh from wrist to shoulder. As he reeled away in agony, another gust of wind opened the flap of flesh that used to be his right arm and his entire skeleton fell out.

He'll be fit next week.

Until he's taking off his boots after his first training session back, only to forget his socks are all wet with sweat and that he was eating a banana before he went out, leaving it's skin on the floor.

He'd almost slip, but regain his balance quickly and pick up the possible hazardous banana skin. Smiling to himself at his luck, he'd walk slowly over to bin to dispose of it only for the bath he'd left running upstairs before training to crash down onto his head.
