Phoenix
My grannie was so superstitious, she believed that if the cat sat with its back to the fire, it was a sign of rain. If she had washing out, rain looked imminent, and the cat had it's back to the fire, she would pick it up and turn it round. Fact. Can't recall if it was a successful ploy or not. Cisse
When I used to play and coach ice hockey I always put the left skate first. Don't know why but I just had to.

Michael Owen hasn't got any either. “I don't believe in superstitions. I just do certain things because I'm scared in case something will happen if I don't do them.”

Mostyn6
I remember when I was wanting to take my driving test and the date came through and it clashed with my holiday so I rang to cancel and re-arrange and the woman said that they'd had thousands of cancellations UK wide for the week before, It was in 2006, June the 6th. effectively 06.06.

Don't do it anymore, that would be sad
