Posh Ram
Who is going to be taking pens for us this season? Because towards the end of last season we started cocking them up, sammon should never have taken them, and ward missed a few and lost his confidence. I reckon russell, but I've no idea what his penalty record is like.
North_Stand_Ram
Russell took em for Dundee United. It's him or Martin
eranio20
It's funny because there's a good set piece specialist already here in Ben Davies. Russell, Davies, Jacobs, Bryson Are took penalties at there former club.
Posh Ram
I'd quite like Bryson taking em to be honest, cool under pressure and I'd like to see him with a good goal record.
Mostyn6
I wouldn't like Bryson taking penalties, he has a sometimes bizarre kicking technique. As I haven't seen Russell live, I'd say that Martin looks to have the best technique for penalties, maybe Forsyth too.
davenportram
Jacobs should never be allowed to take a penalty again - he missed on Tuesday
Alph
From the penalties I've seen I'm happy for Nigel to start taking them. Martin would be my preference. Then Hughes. But I'm growing attached to Will Hughes so i'd back him to take all corners, throws and goal kicks too.
DcFc Dyycheee
Russell - Martin - Ward will be the order I bet.
Anag Ram
Who is going to be taking pens for us this season? Anyone as long as it's not Chris Huhne!
Srg
Jacobs' penalty vs Burton was just a tremendous save, the penalty was excellent. As was it against Vale. They were both very similar.
Whoneedshuls
Give them to keogh! Slightly off topic but was wondering if they let you take rucksacks/backpacks through the turnstiles to home matches or not?
Srg
Yeah, they never check at home.

Leicester Ram
Martin is the natural penalty taker IMO but I reckon Hendrick could smash one
rezner
Other teams keepers watch our peno takers so they know which side they usually go. So to me it would make sense to have three or four takers. Russell,Ward,Martin and Jacobs. Surely they all practice them
CornwallRam
Wow - I'm amazed that there is any debate. It will be Russell. He took them for Dundee United, he is the team's 'goal scorer'. He is the most likely to play every week. The marketing people are aware that it is easier to sell the club if we have a 'hero'. Russell is likely to score five penalties a season - add that to his normal play tally and the minimum for the season should be twenty. Twenty goal a season strikers are perfect for marketing campaigns.
