Srg
Did Sammon play? No, he assisted Keane's third goal from the bench.
May Contain Nuts
Just a shame nobody managed to put one on a plate for him like he has done for Keane these last 2 matches. He did/does generally seem to have improved his heading/flick-ons towards the end of the season and that's continued in these Ireland matches. DcFc Dyycheee
Sammon and Keane are best mates now. Last two games, Sammon has set Keane up for goals."BML1oqoCYAEKJtj" alt="BML1oqoCYAEKJtj">

North_Stand_Ram
Just seen Sammon's assist last night and it was the best first touch he's ever had. Haha, was a good assist, good vision. Hopefully with a decent Keane type player along side him next season he'll be doing it for fun! Russell?

ripleyram88
Trapattoni has also been delighted with the recent efforts of Derby midfielder Jeff Hendrick. The 21-year-old could get a chance to face up to some of the world game's biggest names in the game. Many of Trapattoni's players play in the lower reaches of the Premier League or the Championship, and that is a situation the Italian sometimes struggles to understand. "I think very much about our players who play in the Championship and not in the Premier League," added the Republic boss. "For example, Conor Sammon, Hendrick, they play Championship, and I have to ask why when I see the games in the Premier League and the way they play with us. Quality is quality.
