mozza
I know i.ve posted this in another thread but its so true, i'll post it here too. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> ''You have to be emotionally involved with a club to enjoy/endure football imo. I've seen many matches 'in the flesh', mostly involving the Rams, which raise my blood pressure to dangerous levels, i can't get excited watching Barca, Real, Man Utd etc, because i have no 'feeling' towards them. I remember going to watch Birmingham City beat Ipswich 5-2 at St. Andrews (a free ticket) many years ago i was aware that it was a fantastic display by Brum, but i could only offer polite applause, as i had no feeling for either side. My heart was 'elsewhere', maybe that's the difference between a fan and a supporter''. sorry 'bout me rambling on... Boycie
I'm not sure, but maybe he was a WUM? Might be wrong, but he did say he wasn't really a football fan? So Forest was the right choice. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF!

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF! These WUMs get craftier by the day. I wonder if they have a small shed plotting new ways to try and wind people up. Sad existence if you ask me. Pearl Ram
Hope his daughter doesn't develop this attention seeking condition that he appears to be afflicted with otherwise with becoming a born again gump, he's in for a pretty miserable time in the future. voyager1
If the guy chose Forest, thats his choice. Don't worry, there are plenty of undocumented cases where a newcomer chooses Derby. Its all down to personal choice, different circumstances and people can chop and change as they discover whats around them.
mozza
if i lived two streets away from 'The Nou Camp', Derby would still be my team.. if Derby dropped out of league, they would still be my team.. its in me blood, you see..

If you've followed Derby for many years then they will always be your team. If you lived two streets away from Nou Camp then you'd might take a secondary interest in Barcelona but Derby will always be your team.
Day
I'm sure he's happy with his choice, I mean losing 4-1 at home was just a blip, wasn't really fair either as Millwall had bigger players then them

Pearl Ram
I tell you what puzzles me, we have a member on here that goes by the name of ReluctantRam.....WTF ? Did he want to support another team and someone said , "No, you've got to support Derby" ? Surely someone wants to support a team or they don't, they don't have a "Ok, go on then... if I have to" attitude to supporting a team.....Do they ? http://forums.aria.co.uk/images/smilies/ScratchHead
westbrom1404
Hahahah this is brilliant, even after the playoff final I prefered Derby to Forest. I have a friend who's a Forest fan, he's utterly deluded. And I'm probably going to tonight's game, woo! Here is an example of their delusions, directly from my facebook: Forest fan: Derby county are the worst club in britain. They give tickets away and they still only get 18,000 people turn up! Me: Nah, only because its for Freshers fare, plus its a raffle thing. And they're all for different games, so I'm sure they only give away about 100-200 each. Harsh, good stadium, and they filled it up week in week out despite being smashed in the Premier League. Forest are a nothing club now. Forest Fan: Forest are a bigger club than derby Me: 30 years ago maybe, not now, or recently. Forest Fan: £10 pound we finish higher than them this season.Derby are pure bulshit. We've got them on saturday. Watch and learn Me: Sunday* We all know what happened on that Sunday before the West Brom v Villa game 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
