I'm just glad they're all as bad as each other and are fighting for a start, as long as they get goals and win more than we loose who cares.... I'm liking this Derby squad more and more. Jourdan Posted December 22, 2012 Share Posted December 22, 2012 It's a fallacy to suggest Tyson hasn't been given a chance. He certainly has. But of course it's going to be difficult for him to cement a first-team place when he is competing with three other players for two sometimes one position and is some way down the pecking order to begin with. Theo has scored goals consistently for us and even his place is anything but assured so I don't know why anyone would find it unusual for Tyson to find himself in this predicament. For one, Clough clearly favours having a physical presence up front which is why Sammon is favoured above all else and two, Tyson needs to have the same kind of impact he's had in recent months over a longer period of time. It'll get to a point where Clough has no choice but to put him in the side. Tyson just needs to keep doing what he's doing and he'll get his rewards. I do think Clough should adjust his tactics for certain opposition though.
